Dowling Family Eye Care

I would not recommend this office at all. I went in for a routine exam for contacts and glasses, which the doctor seemed polite and knowledgeable. She tried me with an astigmatism contact lense for one of my eyes, which I had not had before. She stated if it was not something that felt comfortable, that it would not be a huge deal to change to a regular spherical lense. It has now been 3 months of calling their office (and being patient for call backs that never came) explaining that the astigmatism lense was not comfortable and did not work for me and to try and get a regular spherical lense. I had called on one occasion and the receptionist was so off-putting, she explained I had never called them to tell them what I didn't like about the lense, (even though I had, I just must have spoken with someone else in the office that must not have relayed my concerns) and was so defensive when I had simply called for an update. I feel sad and discouraged by this situation as the facility seemed to have great reviews, but feel it is best to find another eye doctor and staff who will be able to help their patients and address their concerns.

I recently visited this eyeglass place and I must say, I was truly impressed with the service I received. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, helping me pick out the perfect pair of glasses that suited my style and prescription needs. The process was quick and efficient, and I was amazed at how fast my glasses were ready for pick up. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of new glasses or sunglasses. Five stars all around, I will definitely be returning for all my eyewear needs in the future. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Dr. Dowling and her team are amazing, kind, and patient. We have been visiting her office for years. I recently scheduled all 4 of my children at the same time for their visits. She cared for each of my children individually and made them all feel comfortable. They made sure to not overbook appointments and gave us all of her attention at the time we scheduled. They patiently helped 2 of my children pick out their new glasses that they are excited to receive this week! Of course her pup is always a hit when we go in for our visit. Thank you Dr. Dowling and team! Highly recommend!

Some of the most caring and professional people I have ever dealt with in the medical field. The doctor herself is outstanding. She takes the time to explain what she's doing and why. The girls at the front desk are fantastic. They are always professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with every single time. My family has been having their eye exams at Dowling for years and even tho I have moved away I still make a special trip up every year just because I can't find any other office as wonderful as this one is, that's how much I really like these people.

Dr. Dowling is very kind and friendly. She took her time and gave my daughter a thorough examination. The price for her glasses were very reasonable as well. We loved her pup Oliver, such a sweet boy. I'm glad I switched to this office.
