Walmart Vision & Glasses

Positively the worst experience I have ever had at an eye doctor facility; first of all, they have no eye doctor on site. You are subject to getting an eye exam with a video process. The first exam I went through was misdiagnosed because the individual that completed the first exam was not qualified and did not identify that I had a secondary cataract. As a result, the glasses were incorrect and the individual that did the exam never mentioned she couldn't get me to 20/20. I should also mention this Walmart is 45 minutes from where I live and to keep going back to this location cost me a fortune and gas. Because they did not diagnose my situation correctly I needed to go back after one week and have everything redone again. I was charged almost $400 for the glasses in addition to what my insurance picked up. The second exam was diagnosed with a secondary cataract. After the cataract surgery I went back to have my prescription redone. All the manager Elaine kept saying to me was they were doing me a favor by not charging me for bifocals. She never apologized for the misdiagnosis; she said the misdiagnosis had nothing to do with the Vision Center. She just kept repeating that she was doing me a favor. Needless to say I will never ever go back to Walmart again for an eye exam. That facility in Honesdale is a joke. The only two that know what they're doing is Kelly and Liz. The manager is absolutely horrible and disrespectful to customers.

Liz was the kindest person in an eye emergency that I had with a lost contact. She went above and beyond to make sure I got the contacts I needed. Couldn't be more grateful for her help!

I have been going here for years. Never had any issues with glasses or contacts. They hand me contacts on the spot with no delay. I purchased frames and after a week I didnt like them. I went back and they took the glasses back and let me order new ones with no charge and no hassle. Now to the customer service part. The staff is really incredible. They are all very friendly and accomodating. I have always been treated with respect and utter kindness. Keep up the great work! Thanks for all the years of exemplary service you have given to my family!

I'm giving this place 1 because they do not deal with their affiliates selling frames through Walmart firmly. I did the exam and purchased the glasses from Walmart. I chose scratch-resistant lenses which has a warranty on them. The glasses got scratched pretty bad so I brought them back to Walmart Vision Center for the warranty. I was told it'll take up to 2 weeks to get them back. So far it's been nearly a month and I still haven't gotten my glasses back! I've called a week ago and was told my glasses should be there shortly . Again, I'm STILL waiting! Reading glasses are very serious for some folks and I just can't believe that Walmart Vision Center is allowing its affiliates to neglect their customers. I'm hoping that my vision doesn't get worse because without the glasses I struggle to read. That struggle can worsen ones vision.

My experience in this place was terrible too! They decided to charge my credit card before they realized I already gave them my insurance information. They had to refund my credit card which was a process. I waited several weeks for my contacts to come in the mail. I called them to see where they might be and they stated that my insurance canceled the order and that they had called me. That was not the case. I never received a phone call from them. However, they tried to run my credit card for the amount they billed the insurance company without my authorization. After arguing with them I convinced them to process the insurance claim again. Problem solved. The insurance company processed my claim and the order was received. Never again!

My experience in this place was terrible. First I went in this place and they told me that I needed an appointment, that's fine I scheduled the appointment and they had me. I went had my eyes checked out and apparently I only needed very small prescription. They gave me my glasses and the charge was. BE AWARE 300 dollars how great. It turns out it was wrong I decided to go to another eye doctor and they told me that the glasses where very wrong. I had bad vision in one eye and in the other one I had more. They said I had really bad vision. Oh and the fact that the customer service is terrible. I hope this helps anyone Do NOT GO THERE.

If you buy new glasses they give you glasses in 4 to 5 days fast service. BUT YOU WANT TO REPAIR SAME GLASS THEY TAKE 2 WEEKS WITH NASTY ATTACKS. AFTER SALES THEY Don't CARE. Meanwhile Walmart hassling for Business. If this was my business, it would been different story. Do I need to go for my shopping? Yes but not in vision & glasses.

Went in because my glasses broke, one of the arms came off and I lost the screw. They were super nice and fixed it for no cost. Would definitely recommend! Thank you :)
