Kirman Eye

If you're looking for optometrists that CARE, that understand attention to detail, embrace innovation, and listen and HEAR each patients own unique situation, you've found your "optometric home." I've been a patient and customer for probably over 20 years. One of my hobbies requires me to have special glasses made, requiring extra and attention to get right. Specifically Dr. Kirman and Casey gave of themselves above and beyond what could ever be normally expected. Their facility, offices, and patient rooms are more than clean, presentable, well-lit, and comfortable. Being seen there makes me feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for.

I am so grateful for Kirman Eye and Dr. Bahajak. I was visiting the area and experienced an emergency with my contacts during the holidays, and it was the friendly front desk staff at Kirman Eye who very kindly was able to squeeze me in. Everyone was so friendly, and the "10% chance" that I needed help was indeed needed. Dr. Bahajak was professional, quickly helped me and called in a RX immediately. If I was local, this would be my go-to eye doctor. Thank you!!

They used to be one of the best practices around but they seem to only care about profit now. The accept fewer and fewer insurances every year, increasingly less patient-focused. They called me to tell me that I could self pay for my appointment even though I'm a long-time patient. It's really disappointing to know they don't care about making good eyecare accessible. I know they made this decision so they wouldn't have to hire billing staff. What a shame. That makes 2 insurances they've removed in the recent past. If you're independently wealthy, this is the place for you.

I highly recommend this office and these doctors to anyone looking for a new eye doctor in the area. I have been a patient of Dr. Kirman for 9 years and every annual visit and urgent visit I was treated like family receiving the best care, respect, and professionalism from the staff. Dr. Kirman has many types of sample contacts in stock with various technologies, even for my very nearsighted prescription and dry eyes. We were always able to get a fit that was both comfortable and functional. I like that I was able to sample my new prescription contacts for a week before ordering and make adjustments if needed. Anytime I wanted to come back in or try an adjustment I was able to do so within a couple of days. I always felt that my eye health and my vision was in good hands with Dr. Kirman and the staff at Kirman Eye.

Have been going to these guys for a few years now. They are consistently friendly and super helpful. They are the only people in the Harrisburg area that do FL41 lenses which is originally what brought me to them. Frame selection is excellent with lots of variety to choose from and high quality, as well as name brands. What inspired me to break down and write this review (I don't usually write reviews): I bought some glasses a few months back and tried earnestly to love them. However, I discovered that glare resistance caused some issues for me in my work, and also the frames I picked out weren't quite right for me. (I need nose pads to fit my face...who knew!?) So this was a learning experience for me to say the least and, when I approached them about my issues, they said to "come on in and we would start again from scratch". Even though I am a few months past the return window, they are fixing me right up. This kind of commitment to quality and service is rare and well above par. I highly recommend checking these guys out when you are looking for your next pair of glasses.

Optician, Chris Cole provided excellent service while fitting me with my new eyeglasses. He adjusted them to perfection and was Conscious of proper alignment and vision. Highly recommend requesting his services.

Front office staff is friendly and organized, technicians are friendly and competent! And Dr. Bahajak is so thorough, knowledgeable and never in a rush. The office is clean, quiet and comfortable, too!

I have always been very pleased with Dr Kirman. I'm a difficult patient to fit. But Dr K always did his best. I have been treated for about 20 years. He even recommended who to go to for surgery and then a second opinion. However since I haven't needed glasses for a few years and now I do need them. ( Ive been to retna specialist for the past 2 years and only now are they telling me im stable and can get glasses) But the office said I am a new patient now and can not be seen till June. It was so disappointing I actually cried. Now after 20 some years I have to find a new doctor and beg for an apt. But if your looking for a good Dr he is the best if you can get an apt.
