Dr. Brown is awesome! She is so nice and really listens. The staff out front is okay. Every time I have been there the receptionist (young lady w/ large glasses) is not very friendly, and speaks with a condescending tone/attitude, which is off-putting. Customer service here just isn't great. Doctor Brown is wonderful tho!

Was cleaning my glasses yesterday morning and they broke in half at the nose bridge. Brought them to Johnstown's store this morning along with my receipt dated 01/06/2024 only to be told that they no longer warrant their frames for a year. The warranty is now 30 days. Been coming here for years. Won't be back. UPDATE After being contacted by the manager saying that they would contact the frame manufacturer to see what could be done about my broken frames. I was pleased to get new frames at no cost to me. I will definitely be sure to confirm the warranty period in the future.

Used to take my kids here, they are grown now and being 5o+ I needed my first pair of glasses. They were very expensive even with insurance I paid over $600 out of pocket for one pair of glasses and when I had problems with them they said sorry they're out of warranty. After getting the glasses, my three kids all informed me they don't go there now because they're not that good anymore and really expensive. Now I also know they don't stand behind the products they are selling. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I like. UPDATE 10/27/21: I was really happy to see the response that they were willing to fix my glasses and took them up today and they were really nice but as you can see I did not give them anymore stars because they did nothing. I got these glasses 2years and one month ago today. When I got them I was told they were covered from anything but dog damage, period. No time frame was given and I would't expect them to fix them 5 years after getting them but to have a piece of very expensive garbage after 2 years is discouraging. And I still wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The pictures are of my cleaned glasses, the stuff that looks like dirt well that's the problem it's the lenses. And they basically taped the frames, well at least the black tape matches, but could have done that at home with some electrical tape.

I got my son new frames here a year or two ago and they were great. I had to get him new frames again this year and got them here and everything was fine, paid $30-$40 for the warranty. I took him to his exam 3 weeks ago and after his exam, they tried getting me to sign a paper saying the warranty was void on the frames. I explained I had just purchased these frames a month ago. They said their system was changing and they didn't realize this? Went to get him his new lenses today that cost around $300 without insurance, $120 copay and was told they're not cut right?? Almost $400 for lenses and exam without insurance. I live a half hour away and was only told sorry and that I have to come back and take my son out of school again to get he new lenses. Hopefully they're good next time. I'm looking for a new place to take him after I get these lenses that I already paid in full for. I get making mistakes, but trying to get me to sign that paper already rubbed me the wrong way and now I wasted a morning and gas money when I could have gotten so many other things done today.

I was verbally assaulted by an employee today. I got half of it recorded. Apparently she told everyone who i was and that im a coward. She had charges pressed on me and they were dismissed with prejudice!!! As soon as the judge seen them they were thrown out and are being expunged from record. This woman was the reason I couldn't get my glasses for over 2 yrs. Never mentioned her name. When I was asked why I have neglected my eyes I had mentioned that I wanted to stay away until the charges were handled. Now I get harassed at the eye Dr by a woman who ran my business name in the dirt on nothing but lies. Be justice prevailed. So as she should of been professional and stayed away from me. She went out of her way to confront me in front of everyone in the lobby. After I get my glasses I will not be returning. The other girls in the back were great!!! Zaylynn is very professional and has an amazing personality. So that half of the visit was fine. So she is why im giving 2 stars instead of 1. Since 0 stars isn't an option.

If I could give zero stars I totally would! This place is ripping off the elderly! My dad in all the time he has had Medicare has NEVER HAD TO PAY FOR AN EYE EXAM! but this place because he mentioned he has dry eye wrote it up as a medical exam! And the woman I talked to was totally rude on the phone when I called to ask about it!

Always examined with the latest equipment, I feel confident each year that my eyes are being examined thoroughly. I was a patient of Dr. Cascino for many years till he retired and am now with Dr. Sheridan who seems very knowledgeable as well. The staff are friendly and helpful. The office is very clean and has a really nice atmosphere. I highly recommend them.

From the Dr's to the desk associats, optical are great but wherever they send prescription to (lab) are awful. My lenses came in wrong the first time and they had to reorder again and was just told they are wrong again and have to be reordered for a third time. I guess we will see what happens this time when they come back.
