Absolutely AMAZING experience!!! From the first time of speaking to and meeting with Ben to get everything set in place was so easy. Ben was so easy to work with and really cared about us. Myself, husband and 21 year old son had prk done in 2024. Dr Patel was so nice and caring. At that time he did not feel comfortable doing the procedure on our 24 year old daughter. Her eye sight was the worse and an astigmatism. About 8 months later we asked again for her, she went in knowing she might not be 100% , the Dr said he would do it. She got out of the procedure and could see!!!! It was a miracle, we cried tears of joy. LIFE CHANGING!!! We are all so happy to have had this done. I would tell anyone who has to wear contacts or glasses to get it done!!! Ben, Dr Patel and Dr Ozbald are all so amazing,kind and caring!!! They only want the best for you!!! Once again LIFE CHANGING!!!!!!

The overall experience was amazing. I met with Ben who did my consult and was amazing and talked me through every step and made me feel less nervous. He was also there for any questions I had after PRK and never made me feel like I was a bother. Dr. Patel and his staff were also amazing. Again, talked me through every step and let me know what was happening before they did it. Would recommend to everyone! *****The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the follow ups after your surgery are not like they say. I was supposed to have a follow up 24 hours after, and the doctor was going out of town so I missed that appointment which would have saved Ben alot of phone calls from me because I had tons of questions. I'm also supposed to have a 3 month follow up and it's now been 5 months with no follow up appointment yet. It's extremely frustrating because it's your eyesight. You get 1 set of eyes. And there doesn't seem to be a rush with getting the appointments scheduled for follow ups. You have to keep your yearly eye appointments and have them faxed over to Envision to keep the insurance so if you ever need a touch up in the future, it would be covered. But why do patients have to wait months and months for a follow up when before you have the surgery they tell you when the follow ups would be? Just extremely frustrating. *Ben reached out and everything was taken care of!

I had a fantastic experience with Envision Laser Center. I had put a request online for LASIK surgery and within a short amount of time I got a response. One of their employees, Ben, proceeded to give me a call and we set everything up for a consultation. Throughout the whole experience he was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was laid back and relaxed. He explained the process, what to expect, how to arranged payments, etc. They offered 0% financing for 24 months which is absolutely great and easy to afford. My consultation, pre-check and surgery were all done within the month. Again, through the whole process the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Mucciola checked my eyes to make sure everything was good and went over any questions. My surgery went phenomenal and smooth. It was fast; I would say less than 10-15 mins. They explain what they are doing the whole time and the nurse was very calming, there's nothing to worry about. You literally can't mess it up. You just need to relax, it doesn't hurt. Your eyes will be irritated for the next couple hours but that's about it. I could see far away again the moment they finished. Dr. Patel and the staff are very professional. They know what they are doing. I am several weeks out from surgery, had no complications and can see perfectly. I hated wearing glasses and now I don't have to worry about them fogging up with a mask, looking through scratches or glares, or wondering where I set them down. I love it! I wish I had gotten this done sooner. Highly recommend if you are considering LASIK or PRK to contact them soon because they are getting busy.

I had PRK surgery two weeks ago and today at my many efficient follow ups with my own optometrist, I was seeing pretty perfectly already! My eyes didn't even look like they had any surgeries and were healing nicely under the microscope. From the consultation, pre ops, and surgery, I can't say enough! Ben was great and explained everything. Dr Patel was patient and the female nurse was excellent at trying to keep me calm, since I felt like I was going to pass out. The punctual plugs creeped me out lol. Within a few minutes after surgery, I sat up and could see. My vision was terrible prior to surgery and I am incredibly grateful for my outcome. I hope this continues for several years to come and if you are thinking about Lasik or PRK, make a consultation appointment! You will not regret it. They give you an nice cooler, a case for your meds, goggles for nighttime, sunglasses, and the ice pack for your eyes, which I loved to use!

I had PRK done a few years ago, my husband had lasik a year ago. I am looking forward to having PRK done for my oldest son in February 2021. I truly appreciated the exceptional service received from all the staff at the Johnstown location. Ben was able to answer any questions I had at the initial consultation to put any of my concerns at ease. It is so nice to not have to wear contacts or glasses on a daily basis. I am so glad that I had the procedure done.

My grandson just had prk surgery this morning. I usually don't give reviews but have to on this one. I would recommend them to anyone wanting this surgery. They have an awesome group of people. Starting with Ben. Awesome. De Osbold. Awesome and Dr Patel who did the actual surgery. Awesome. Thank you all!!

I can not say enough how life changing having PRK has already been for me. I HIGHLY recommend Envision. Ben answered my first initial call, I met with him for free consultation, Ben checked my eyes day before surgery. On the day of, I walk in and there was Ben, during the procedure he was checking in and he walked me out afterwards. To me that's huge to have a common person every step of the way, truly calmed any nerves I had. Dr. Patel and the other staff in the room explained every step, there was never a moment one of the 3 were not talking to you. Oh and best part ZERO pain!!! Only thing I felt was cold eye drops, I was in and out within 15min. Follow up has been great, I got a call from you guessed it Ben seeing how I was doing!! I am not being paid, I did not get PRK for free. I truly mean this was LIFE CHANGING!! Thank you Envision Laser Center

Very pleasant experience from start to finish. Had to originally put surgery on hold because I was breastfeeding, but once the go ahead was made, I was quickly attended to. Pre-op clearance was convenient and stress free. Financing was super easy. You get a nice duffle bag too. Ben, Dr. Patel, Dr. Oswald and staff are very friendly and accomidating. No long wait to "go under the laser". Surgery itself was less than 10 minutes and painless. Only reason 4 stars was given was because I did mention I was nervous to the staff a couple times and no medication was offered to me. Informed mild antianxiety meds would be offered prior to surgery. When I finally asked if someone was going to offer me medication, I was told if I was to get premedicated I would have to wait close to 30 minutes and they were 10 minutes away from taking me back so I said not to worry about it. Needless to say, I started to feel ill when the flap was made for my first eye. I told them I was going to pass out. Dr. Patel asked me if I had a history of this and I said yes. He quickly dressed my eye and the nurse got me cooled off. Again, everyone was professional and nice - except for one guy I never even saw but was at a computer in the room. He started muttering how it is the patients fault for not telling staff this and his comments made me feel really bad like I intentionally wanted to put the schedule behind and mess up the rest of his day. Well, first off I was never asked if I ever passed out before and two I expressed my anxiety numerous times. So he made me mad. Besides that MINOR setback, I would do it again - even without premedication!! Extremely caring and professional staff. Minus one that is!
