I've come here before, but today I had an urgent appointment due to a possible retina detachment that happened over the weekend. I am in my 20s, and while I know it's rare for people my age to get it, I've had 3 different surgeries on my eyes. When I came in today I was extremely worried, since my local eye doctor demanded I was looked at by a retinal specialist ASAP. One of the ladies who prepped me for the doctor, and the doctor himself, rushed me. While there were some very important things I was concerned about, I still felt really overlooked and written off. The doctor left the room before I could even ask him anything, so I stopped him in the hallway while all the nurses turned and stared at us. I was really uncomfortable with the bedside manner, so much that I'm doubting his opinion and will be going to see a different doctor for a second opinion. I also will not be returning to this location due to the social discomfort, lol. They were mostly all really kind, so I didn't wanna give a really bad review, I just felt so nervous and the staring and dismissing kind of got to me in a bad way.

Needed emergency laser procedure for multiple retinal tears which Dr. Knicklebein performed. Everyone was courteous and friendly and the entire visit only took about 90 minutes. Likely saved my vision in my left eye. Highly recommend.

Would not recommend based on erroneous information placed on chart, reason for referral not addressed, not given complete findings while in office, read them on patient portal. Dr. did not explain his diagnosis, merely said this is what it is, Hypertensive retinopathy, did not instruct what to do to prevent future issues as I do not have hypertension. Said I do not need to be seen again, follow up with physician, who they did not have listed, even tho I had given information and they had made the referral. Horrible "bedside" manner, very curt, felt as tho I was wasting his time. I have never left a review like this before, but the experience was horrendous and errors still have not been corrected.

Great staff. Dr. Russio performed a repair on my detached retina. Very professional and I would highly recommend this group. They most likely saved my vision.

Had retinal tear surgery. Altho experience as whole I wouldn't wish on anybody, the staff at RVC, all Drs and all staff, were absolutely wonderful. Thank you for saving my sight

My left eye was found to have macular degeneration and a potential for future blindness...the treatments hear saved me!!! Every day now I'm thankful I went there!
