Walmart Vision & Glasses

Huge improvement since I was here last. Staff is friendlier and I loved Susan. She got me in and out quickly. Answered all questions in a professional manor and did not get upset like the prior Optometrist would have.

The staff at Walmart Vision are amazing, caring and patient. The doctor was absolutely amazing at making me feel comfortable and important, and gave me some positive information regarding my vision. My glasses are perfect and I can see even better than before!

Great staff, great doctors. My daughter needed glasses and contacts. She has never had contact before, but they guy that helped her learn to put them in was awesome. He spent an hour with her and she got them in. I have to explain contacts were critical for my daughter due to her cosplay outfits. For years she had been struggling to get contacts to no avail. Finally with these folks she was able to learn how. the prices were amazingly cheap also. The optician was amazing and very polite and easy to work with. The staff helped all the way.

Very professional and knowledgeable. My 6 year old broke her glasses while we were on vacation. The manager was able to get a replacement pair shipped to our home, without any hassle, and they were waiting for us when we returned.

To be 100% honest They try there hardest to NOT accommodate you Quote " Oh NO, you can't buy any contacts off of us you never came in after your exam to get" FITTED" for your contacts"?????? "If you pay us $25.00 we will sell you contacts ,since you missed your contact lens fitting after your eye exam 3 weeks ago."???? Even though I've gotten the exact same contacts at the same prescription power at the exact same place 10 years in a row!!!!! No offense but the most recent time I picked up a pair of contacts from them I asked could I wash my hands and the heavyset woman with glasses that worked there said to her coworker " Why does he have to wash his hands?? And then I asked to use some of their saline to rinse the new contact off before inserting in my eyes , the same woman who's been there at least 7 years or so said to her coworker " why does he need to rinse them off for?" Wow , it's not coming out of your pocket they're a trial pair and the saline is a trial size bottle ! Wow ,extreme poor customer service , if they worked for me I would've fired them before I hired them ! The above statement is 100% Accurate and true to the best of my knowledge! Charles t Platt

Had a terrible experience here with DR RICHARD WAY. I went on a Saturday and was early for my appointment, but bc of waiting and hour, I had to leave for work so I rescheduled for the following Monday. I was 15 minute early, but had wait over , two hours to be acknowledged by the doctor. While waiting, I had pleasant conversation with other customers also waiting. I'm the time I briefly mentioned that I had been waiting a very long time and once again had to leave for work. The doctor finally came out and was extremely ride to me and was condescending I'm front of a group of other people on the office, accusing me of yelling and told me I was late, when in fact I was 15 minutes early and still waiting nearly two hours. An actual Walmart employee felt so bad bc he heard how I was treated and had me speak to the store manager, bit unfortunately it is two separate employment. I ja e never had issues like this I the Altoona office and was very hurt and appalled by the treatment of Dr Richard Way. Don't go unless you want to wait and not treated with great customer service by the doctor

Heather is the absolute sweetest person ever. She has always made me feel welcomed and goes out of her way for me. The other day I had a run in with a very ignorant human being and busted out into tears in the waiting room. Heather quickly came and whisked me away to the exam room and talked to me and helped calm me down and make me feel better. She spent more time with me then I have spent with any doctor. It felt like hanging out with a friend it was honestly such a pleasant experience after such a terrible experience. I will never go anywhere else as long as she is the doctor there!

Had the opportunity to visit Walmart Vision again in Richland, PA. Manager was very helpful, helped me navigate through the different options. Great selection of frames, ended up with a new pair of glasses AND a pair of sunglasses! Highly recommend!
