Adam R. Thode, MD - Manning and Rommel Associates

Recently, I went to this location with Dr. Thode's prescription in hand for much needed new glasses only to be stalled by Carlos, whose total lack of professionalism not to mention incompetence made getting my new glasses impossible. Moreover, as incredible as it may seem he simply walked away from me to talk to another client with me still sitting there! As a senior citizen finding rides to places is VERY difficult which is why I always call in advance to my desired destination to let them know I'm coming to ensure they're won't be any problems. Actually, I called three time and STILL this happened! Furthermore, my driver was furious, that he had taken off work for nothing. And YES, I did call Dr. Thode's office to bring this matter to their attention to which my pain was met with a polite indifference. At this writing, I am considering some form of redress, though I hope matters won't escalate to that point.

I had to get bifocals for the first time. Dr. Thode explained the transition process and what I could expect while adjusting. He was timely and thorough.

He isn't great at communication, as he told me that I didn't need bifocals and then put it on my prescription. The following visit, he treated me horribly because I had complained to the office.

Dr. Thode took the time to thoroughly exam my eyes and share his concerns with my vision. He is very patient and answered all of my questions!
