Dombrowski Eye Associates

I love this eye clinic. The front desk could not be any nicer. Everyone is helpful and considerate. Dr. Dombrowski helped me find the perfect contact prescription, after years of struggling at other eye clinics. I usually struggle finding glasses I like, but they helped me find the perfect pair. I am extremely pleased. I highly recommend this wonderful group of people!

Dombrowski Eye Associates have been my eye doctors for years now. Their entire staff is considerate, thoughtful, and professional. I recommend them highly!

We had 2 appointments at Dombrowski Eye Associates. The first appointment was for my wife. When it was scheduled, my wife gave our eye insurance to the office assuming that this would constistute her free exam through our insurance. We knew that my wife is allowed one free exam per year. After the exam was done they told us we were one day short of the new year and charged us $303 for the exam that was supposed to be free. There was no assistance or help nor any responsibility taken in this discrepancy. Now, I wrote that off as our fault, but it got us wondering about this office. This week, my daughter went in and we made sure to be as clear as possible about what we wanted and our expectations. We also made sure that the insurance was in place to help us with this appointment. We wanted a prescription for a specific 2-week contact and even though we made our desire perfectly clear, the doctor would not prescribe the 2-week contact and would only give us a prescription for dailies and glasses. After several calls, he stood very firm on his opinion, claiming that because my daughter had an eye infection, he couldn't prescribe the 2-week because it might endanger his license. Even though we tried to be clear on the services we desired, and we were charged 110 for the service, we didn't end up getting what we wanted. I respect Dr. Dombrowski, he seems to be a knowledgeable doctor, but he did not provide the service that we wanted, nor did I feel like he cared for our plight or took into consideration our need. I gave 2 stars, because I do believe Dr. Dombrowski is very good at his profession, but will not return because of our negative experiences.

Dr. Dombrowski compared me to an oxycontin addict for being honest about wearing a monthly contact lens for longer than a month when running low on contacts and then charged me $100 for the lecture. Based on my experience and other reviews, it seems this office may only prescribe daily contacts (at the cost of $1,000 for a yearly supply).

All of the staff is very kind and welcoming and have been since I was a kid. Dr. Kauffman is very knowledgeable and informative. Great selection of frames for glasses too. :)

The staff is very friendly and helpful setting up future appointments. The exam, test results and treatment options were explained to me very clearly for my consideration. Dr. Dombrowski is very patient with me during my exam.

I called for an emergency appointment for what turned out to be an abrasion on my cornea. They got me in quickly. I was treated with kindness and compassion by all of the staff. Dr. D. insisted on a recheck 2 days later, so I got to experience Dr. W. that day. Both doctors were fantastic. I will be coming here for all my eye care needs from now on. A special thank you for the extra compassion given to me from the tech who did the pre-exam (apologies for forgetting her name). When she found out about a different health issue I'm dealing with, she was super sweet and encouraging. My eye healed quickly, thanks to the doctors' quick actions. I love everything about this practice.

Very helpful in getting glasses for an infant. Staff were professional and kind. Glasses came in very quickly!
