Dr. Frisch and the entire team at Eye Health Physicians of Lancaster provided an exceptional level of care. I am sad to see Dr. Frisch retire, but wish him well. I always appreciated that from the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with professionalism, warmth, and genuine attentiveness. Dr. Frisch is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable in his field, but also takes the time to thoroughly explain every detail of the exam and treatment options, ensuring patients feel informed and at ease. His calm demeanor, precision, and compassionate approach reflect a deep commitment to patient health and comfort.
The supporting staff was also very knowledgeable and helpful. Eye Health Physicians of Lancaster has created a standard of care that truly sets them apart, and it's clear they take great pride in the well-being of their patients.
I want to thank Dr. Frisch for many years of serving the Lancaster community!
He's retiring and we have to have our records transferred to another facility which is fine . I don't think it's right and several other people agree with me. They don't think it's right that we have to have our records transferred and us pay for them. I talked to several different people. Where there eye doctors retired and all their records were transferred for free because they retired. I don't think we should be held responsible for paying for our records to be transferred. I called and asked if I pick them up will there be a charge still and they said yes the full amount. I don't think this is fair.
My mom sees Dr. Frisch, for her glaucoma. He has been super, explains every little detail and really cares. We will miss him now that he is retiring. Never had any issues with the front desk staff. Actually they have been very friendly and professional.
I am giving EHPL a 3 because of it's rude front desk staff. From the time I checked in to the time I checked out, not a single welcoming attitude or a courteous smile from anyone at the Front Desk. Lady checked me in and said have a seat until you're called. At checkout time, a group of ladies were talking at and when I asked do I need anything, one lady just said no you can go. Not a single thank you, not a single smile. Didn't even ask if I needed my paperwork for the services, which they should, since there's no online portal to access what services were done. I had to call in and request my paperwork. The only reason, I've been going to this location is because of Dr. Frisch and his ability to diagnose the issues, plus he's very courteous and helpful throughout the process.
I started having some trouble with my vision. I reached out to many places in the area most had long wait time. The staff at Eye Physicians of Lancaster were able to work me in just a few days. When I arrived, the greeting area was warm and inviting. I only waited a few minutes before being led back to the exam room. The exam was thorough, and the Dr spent a lot of time being thorough and explaining everything to me. After the exam, they guided me through the purchase of frames. Helping me to choose the best frames for my eyes and lifestyle. I would recommend anyone looking for a personalized approach to Eye care check out the team at Eye Physicians of Lancaster 10/10 would recommend them!
The front desk staff is the best! Friendly, helpful and smiling.
The Dr. and assistant are very nice & explain what they are doing & why & answer any questions you may have while examining your eyes. I had cataract surgery some years back & everything went well.
I ordered glasses for the first time in November 2020. I got them and they just didn't work right for me.
I was told that the eye glass part opens at 8:30 am but don't come til 8:45 am.? Staff was very nice. Glasses didn't work & they tried to adjust the nose pads to allow me to see better. (Bi-focals). Something just wasn't correct & I took them back to be returned to the lab for a correction before Thanksgiving. I had to call to check at the end of Dec.2020 to see if they ever came back, I got no call, no follow up, they didn't check about my glasses & they still have not been returned 1/5/21. I am very unhappy. I was told that someone would check on them this week & I still have heard nothing.? I will not buy glasses here ever again.
I was overall satisfied until today when the person at check out showed the worst attitude I have ever experienced from any stuff member at any physicians office in my life. She was just rude since the beginning, I don't have her name, but all I know is that she should not be at the front desk servicing people. Only reason I don't rate this place with one start is because I think the doctor does a good job and he is kind, other stuff members in general are rude, except for the one in the glasses store side of the business.
I had been going there for almost 5 years, but the last time I was seen turned into a real disaster. My appointment was rescheduled twice. Doctor changed my prescription and apparently I had astigmatism, but none told me until I complained about my new glasses not feeling right. Front desk staff was friendly but my chart had my husbands paperwork in it, instead of mine. I should've listen to my gut that It was time to go somewhere else. It didn't get better from there. New frame was uncomfortable and prescription caused a headache for four days. When I called about my options, they were giving an appointment a month out. After 4 times being there, I was expected to take time off from work to go back for re-examination to fit their schedule. Person who sold me the frames was never in the office when I called or went, and the only person helping me was a new employee who has been working there for only three months. Very disappointed. At the end, I'm donating my new glasses and keeping my old ones. I can't get new frames for another two years. I have to find a new doctor and pay again. Very frustrating.
