I visited for my annual appointment. I learned at checkout that this office no longer offers contact prescriptions and the staff did not renew my eyeglass prescription, all after they completed my eye exam. My prescription is now expired and they refused to renew it unless I scheduled a second appointment. Their complete lack of transparency and honesty is astounding. Find another practice if you value your time.

Proficient staff! Dr K is very nice and provides good patient care. I have been visiting this office for 5+ years and had no issues. I can't understand how people can give bad ratings here.

I am writing to you following a deeply distressing experience I had on February 6th at 2:45 PM during an Argon Laser Trabeculoplasty procedure performed by Dr. Thomas F. Kruleweski. My intention is not to lodge a formal complaint at this time, but rather to share my experience in the hope that improvements can be made to ensure other patients receive a more comfortable and respectful experience. The procedure began with insufficient explanation of what to expect. Dr. Kruleweski assured me that topical anesthetic drops provided adequate pain relief. However, this proved insufficient. The placement of the weighted apparatus in my right eye, coupled with the demand that I keep my eye open throughout the procedure, caused significant discomfort. I struggled to maintain my eye open without breaks, and despite my best efforts, I uncontrollably blinked, causing the apparatus to fall out. This event led to a sharp escalation in Dr. Kruleweski's demeanor. His response to my obvious pain was unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging my discomfort and exploring alternative pain management options, he became irritated, expressing concern only for his schedule and suggesting I should have preemptively taken Tylenol, without assessing whether or not that medication would have been effective in my case. His lack of empathy and failure to adjust his approach based on my expressed pain were deeply upsetting. The entire experience was profoundly negative, leaving me with lasting feelings of anxiety and dissatisfaction regarding my treatment. I felt vulnerable and unheard throughout the procedure. I gathered my medical records from the front office because I will never be returning.

Visit with the doctor was OK but he was unable to help with my issue (I went to him for a second opinion). I paid my copay the day of the visit and left. I recently (8 months later) received a bill from the doctor's office for the full visit amount, and this bill (the only one I ever received) showed that the account was past due - no prior notice, no phone calls, no timely billing, no explanation. I called the office and the person I spoke with told me to wait 2 weeks for them to clarify why I was being billed - they said they would check to see whether it was submitted to my insurance and that they would get back to me, which they never did. When I came back from my overseas trip to follow up, I found that they turned the bill over to a collection agency! I am still trying to resolve the situation but I am very upset by the billing situation. Avoid this place - the billing is a mess and they don't seem to be interested in correcting their own billing mistakes.

to begin I got there 20 to 25 minutes early because it was a new patient appointment. I filled out my paperwork and about 945 but for the time of my appointment, I took my paperwork up to the desk. They said nothing to me other than thank you for filling out paperwork. 1015 rolls around and they take me back to the exam. And I have to wait another 20:25 minutes to see the doctor. I see the doctor and he tells me completely different things then the first person dead and didn't even address most of my problems. The first person told me I would probably need glasses for every day because I have slight blurriness. The doctor told me that I might need reading glasses because of my migraines. I asked about my every day, and the doctor simply didn't say anything. So I went to the desk. them what exactly I needed to do. They were not sure I had to talk to the first person I talk to you again. that person, then say the doctor did not agree with what they said, and then I could just get reading glasses from dollar tree. I looked at the person and said really? And they said I would get one that you think looks good then get the one above and below. I walked out and immediately called my insurance for any different place. I would not go here unless you plan to spend the entire day and never get a solid answer. Thank you. edit my eyes are very blurry from the eye drops so i did voice to text. if anything looks weird, just use context clues.

New staff is very courteous and professional. Great customer service. My cataract surgery done by Dr. K was an excellent experience/outcome. Thank you all!

I like the Dr. He is very personable. I feel as though he is competent and that I am getting good care. He gives confidence in his treatments. The exams seemed rushed when an assistant did them. I didn't trust the results. Also, when checking out this time , I felt like the staff was paying attention to me. One other time, I felt as though they talked among themselves when they were waiting on me. I didn't feel like I was the main focus. But this time it was much better. *****

This practice does not seem well organized. First they called to cancel an appointment less than an hour beforehand. Then they called to cancel the second appointment noting that the doctor is no longer accepting new patients.
