My 81 yr old mother is a long time patient of Matthew Christianson, OD. I have accompanied my mom to several appts and the staff is always so nice and professional. I just took my mom to an appt, they squeezed her in because of an emergency with her eye. She was seen promptly and Dr. Christianson treated her like he would have treated his own mother. He explained everything that was happening to her eye. We had no questions when we left. My mom loves going to him. Thank you for always being so good to my mom. I have my first appt with them in December 2025.

I've only had great experiences at the My Eye Doctor in Latrobe. Every staff member was friendly and they make sure you are taken care of. The doctors and staff are also great at answering questions you may have. I've bounced around eye doctors over the years, so I'm glad I've finally found a great place to become a returning patient.

Front office staff was very professional and friendly.. Explained clearly everything regarding insurance payment, etc. Assistant was very professional also explained everything she was doing clearly. Dr. Brownfield was excellent.. Explained everything he was doing and why. Provided information regarding styes, which is why I was seen.. Altogether a well run very professional office.

I have been coming here for multiple years. Unfortunately I won't be back. Very unprofessional location. They also like to charge for things and not tell the patient. The eye doctors are fine, but the staff is absolutely horrible unprofessional and not very nice. They charged me $25 for a luxury lens fitting, which was not covered under insurance. They said that they would not release my prescription until the balance was paid, That's actually against federal and state law. I did make a phone call to the Somerset location to report this. If you are doing business with these people, beware and make sure you ask before the visit what the total cost will be out of pocket. The balance started at $50 and eventually went to $25. The whole situation felt like buying a used car. PATIENT BEWARE

I like my eye dices but the staff is rude and condescending. They do not want to help. Just stopped by regarding the blue light tint coming off my glasses. She said it's my fault because I used a mild soap, Mrs. Meyers, to clean them.i asked why no one ever told me that. She said 'well we guve you a bottle of spray cleaner". I asked if anything can be done. No! I also broke the stem, asked for help identifying the model of frames which they carry. 'We don't sell parts'. She was just not interested in helping me. The other 2 stood there looking at me like I was some kind of freak. I will NEVER go there again. As well, last year when I bent the stem the woman scratched my lens. They did replace it but sent me home with this 1" scratch across the lens. Never told me. The WORST customer service. That big girl just lost your practice a customer. I have been in customer service and hospitality for years. The way she treated me was completely unacceptable.

terrible service. doctors are good but staff sucks. they won't help you fit the frames to your face and they never seem to answer the phone. lazy. rude. unprofessional!

My experience was a positive experience from the time I made my appointment until I picked up my glasses. It was very easy to get an appointment and was very timely for my glasses to come in. The eye doctor was great, so was the rest of the staff. Very friendly with everyone that came in. The receptionist were very welcoming and had my paperwork ready for me. The ladies that helped with the glasses were great and honest about how they looked. I had an issue with the fit and they tried a few times to fix it but the glasses just were not right for me and they made it right and helped pick out another pair. I tell everyone about this place and recommend that they go there for their eye care needs.

My Eye doctor was fabulous. The girls were very nice and helpful! I would definitely recommend MyEyeDoctor to anyone that would like a pleasant and smooth eye exam. Also, they saved me a lot of money with there great deals they are running now!
