Excellent service and great level of care. Normally an eye doctor pushes you through like herding cattle, this was not the case... great doctor!!
Dr. Is very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. She'll answer all your questions. They have a wide variety of glasses to choose from. Her staff is extremely kind as well. The name of the place fits, because that's where we'll be going from now on !!!
My eye exam was 5.24.25. I ordered lenses for current frames. The lenses have been returned to the lab repeatedly for various reasons the last being the lenses were made too large for the frames that were sent to the lab 2x. It's now been 2 months since I ordered these lenses. This is unacceptable.
Manager did refund me out of pocket costs.
I went here for a while and paid almost 200 dollars out of my own pocket for my contact lenses which was a 3 month supply and every time it ended I had to pay 200 again even though my insurance should have covered it and on my third time going to re order my lenses I said I wanted to get a different kind of contacts but they said I would need to get another appointment so I said ok and they said they would call me the next day to schedule it since the doctor for that wasn't there that day but they never called me and until I can have the interview I wanted to be able to see so I bought glasses until then but the thing with that was they said my insurance ran out for it and I had to pay $150 dollars again out of my pocket.
I had an amazing experience today ! Dr. Javadi really took her time with me to make sure she was thoroughly examining my eyes & found signs of allergies in my eyes that no one has found before but i've clearly had for a while. The girl who helped me pick my glasses and order my contacts was great too, she even took the time to price match my contacts for me to get the best deal. I will definitely be returning here for years to come.
I like this place and their service. I also introduced by daughter here and have been visiting them for the last 4 years. The staff and the Doctor in the house are really nice.
This year I am disappointed because of their lab services which is taking and awful time. I ordered two pairs of lenses to be fit on my frame. The one pair came in and it didn't fit my frame. So it had to be sent back with the frame. I have to wait for another 15 to 20 days. The other pair which was for sunglasses never came and it's beyond 15 days. Hence the reason for three stars
A sign on the desk said "#1 in customer service" and I knew then that I really did need my eyes checked. I have never met such entitled office workers in my life!
I (18) brought in my 17 year old sister in for an eye exam so that she could get her contact lenses, because our previous doctor's office is closed until August. And, my God, you would have thought we were asking them to perform surgery. The women working the front desk made it a point to raise their eyebrows, roll their eyes, and soak their voices in annoyance anytime they spoke to us.
I get that we're younger, but we did nothing wrong. We had our insurance card, money to pay upfront for contacts and co-pay, and I am legally an adult acting as my sister's guardian- I honestly could not tell you what the problem was! And I doubt they could either! They called us "Sketchy" to our faces, insulted our mother for not coming with us, and acted like we were inconveniencing them by expecting them to do their jobs.
Whoever is in charge needs to have a serious word with the people working the front because if I were EVER caught talking to a customer the way they were talking to us (and other customers on the phones) I would have been FIRED.
Even if we were being somewhat inconvenient customers due to our age, I would never expect grown women to be acting so condescending, especially in a professional setting. We left without an exam or contacts specifically because of the way these people treated us.
I don't want the other employees to be negatively affected because of this review, because it sounds like the doctors here are pleasant people, but if they do not do something about these disrespectful women facing their company, MyEyeDr. should expect a decrease in business. If you are not cut out for handling customers- don't work in customer service!
I've read other one-star reviews for this place, and they all say the same thing: The front desk workers are incompetent and rude.
August 2023: I have been coming here for years, since before it was "My Eye Dr".
Today I had a 3pm appointment, which I knowingly arrived 45 minutes early for, and was prepared to wait.
I arrived and checked in letting them know I was aware I was early. Two of the front office women told me that they hadn't even had their lunch yet (like it was an inconvenience that I was early), then said nothing. I then said that's totally fine, I'll just go wait in my car.
I then get a call from the office telling me that I had just walked away, when no one was even saying anything.
She then proceeded to tell me that I never confirmed my appointment, and that I was on the "over flow list" and that my appointment was taken.
I said I absolutely confirmed, because someone called me to confirm and to let me know that I was eligible for an exam, but not for contact lenses. To which I said that's fine, and confirmed.
She read me the notes from that confirmation call, but still said I never confirmed. I was so infuriated that I told her to cancel any and all future appointments, that I would not be coming back.
I've worked for 3 doctors offices-in the front! I'd never speak to someone the way I was talked to. I'd never frown upon a patient being early. I will not be returning, even tho Dr Katherine Mirich is a sweetheart.
Update December 26,2023 : I decided to give the office another chance(because I like the Doctor) and scheduled an appointment online. Today I got a NASTY phone call from the manager wondering why I scheduled, when I was a "chronic no-shower and canceller" (which is incorrect)I told her I wanted to give the office another chance to fix the issue and she talked to me with the most nasty attitude. Extremely unprofessional and kept talking over me like a child taunting another child. I have worked medical and dental front office for years and before that worked in hospitality and I would NEVER speak to a person in this manor,and if I did I would be FIRED IMMEDIATELY. The disrespect and rudeness was unbelievable. I could not believe she was the so-called "manager" . Good luck to you and your practice if your mission is to treat patients like this.. because you won't get very far.
Update December 27 2023: I am receiving text reminders for the appointment that the office manager supposedly canceled, and it will not let me cancel online. I will not be calling the office only to listen to their rudeness, so I'm assuming they will list me as a fake no show and charge me a fee. This business is absolute trash.
