Denis C. Wenders, OD

Im a frequent eye consultant attendee ..because of eye issues. I've seen many different eye consultant doctors and they are all great and im thankful for them all. Dr Wenders however sticks out to me. I leave there feeling so heard, reassured and well taken care of. He remembers who you are, vacations I had gone on or are coming up, he takes the time to understand what's causing the problem, not just treating the problem. Hes not a specialist that I have to see for my eye issues regularly....but I see him when my eye issue is urgent and need to be seen same day. He offers his phone number becuase he truly cares. He spends a decent amount of time looking on the computer because he cares. He never rushes through the visit because he cares. If I could give Dr. Wenders 10 stars I would.... so 5 stars will do. Highly recommend.

my husband had an eye emergency just as they were closing for the day but Dr. Wenders said he should still come in even though we live 40 minutes. he said he would gladly wait and even gave us his cell phone number to call when we arrive in case the doors are locked. you don't hear of doctors willing to do this. glad he was seen as it was an eye infection that could have gotten much worse. he gave his some medicated drops in the office and personally called our pharmacy to put in a prescription for him. also he wants to see him in 2 days to make sure the drops are working. i wish i could give him more than 5 stars! Thank You Dr. Wenders for caring so much!!

I went in for appt. today and was turned away by receptionist because she said I owed a bill of $40.00 from 2018. I'm diabetic and have macular degeneration. I have no idea what the bill was for or who the insurance was with. Now what do I do? Go somewhere else I guess.

My family has been going to Denis C. Wenders, OD for years and we are happy with how he cares about our eye health. He's professional, polite, has patience, and is happy to answer any questions or concerns that we have about our eyes.

I have been going to Dr Wenders for 15 years and it is always a pleasant experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and the staff is helpful and friendly. Also, they have specialists that are on staff from the Reading office that have Pottsville hours. I would highly recommend Dr. Wenders and the other doctors at Eye Consultants of PA.

Very knowledgeable and an expert at what he does. Goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are well taken care of. Highly recommend
