Bucks-Mont Eye Associates: Michael G. Posner, MD

If you are reading this, you are most likely exploring eye surgery. Look no further if you live in Eastern PA. I have just completed about 6 months of eye care including the scraping of the corneas and cataract surgery in both eyes. My case may have been a bit more complicated than some, and there were some necessary set backs in the time line along the way. But as I look back at my entire experience, I can only say that I had the best of care with Dr Posner and his team. First of all, I'm as squeamish about my eyes as they come. AND, all I thought I needed was a better pair of glasses. My optician recommended Dr Posner. I set out to shop another Dr or 2, maybe from Wills Eye or somewhere in Philadelphia, thinking I may get better care than in a more remote part of Bucks County. I was planning to go back to Vermont in the summer, so I definitely wanted to get this done in PA while I had the chance. I did what you are doing....google search. Then I dug a bit deeper online, and talked to a myriad of friends in the area, and Dr Posner's name kept popping up with 5 stars. The office is quite busy there as you would expect with several other doctors also in the group. But things seem to move along well in the waiting rooms and there is ample and comfortable seating. Grandview Surgery Center in Harleysville is where the surgery takes place and, with the exception of their somewhat odd billing statements, I was in good hands all around. Shout out to Dr Bera, too. She covered for Dr Posner when I had to have an appt when he wasn't at the office. I had the best of care and I'm seeing better than I can ever remember. I'm truly grateful for these Professionals who have chosen this career path. Thank you.

I recently had cataract surgery by Dr Posner and I can say I was extremely pleased.. He was very knowledgeable and professional and personable before, during and after the surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this type of surgery. I also would cite his office staff and head nurse. I appreciated her attention to detail and her expertise. Looking forward to seeing the world with great eyesight!
