Crystal Vision Center - Walnutport

I went to the Bethlehem location for my exam , and then the Walnutport location for my glasses because i live closer to this store . From the start i was so pleased with the professionalism of the entire staff! The manager even went above and beyond to open the store for me after hours to choose my frame ( which is so beautiful) because that was the only time that worked for me . So professional and kind, and the Doctor was absolutely lovely ! I found my new forever company for my complicated prescription!

These people exhibited the utmost professionalism and patience. I was visiting here with my wife and overheard their interaction with an amazingly condescending woman with her child. Wow!!! They had to have so much patience with them. When it came to helping my wife with her exam and glasses they were speedy, helpful, and very knowledgeable as well as nice. Makes me feel bad for how the woman treated them. Truly amazing people. I highly recommend this place!!!!

I don't know when I've ever had a company go so far out of their way to help me with a problem. So often the insurances have been issues for me, which took awhile to understand without getting upset, but the staff here dug in and got it solved. Which I'm very grateful for. Friendly, helpful place. I know it takes time to get glasses made through labs, I've had this with every place I've gotten glasses, so this was no different. The doctor and staff were so kind and helpful. This will be my regular spot!

It's honestly really shocking and surprising seeing all of these negative reviews. I went in the other day for a routine eye exam because I haven't had one since 2022. Everyone from the staff and Dr were extremely nice and helpful. The insurance made everything a breeze and I was in and out rather quickly. Don't blame the business and staff if it's a personal issue and you don't know what you're doing. They are there to help. I will continue to support Crystal Vision Walnutport. 5/5

This place is horrible! Tried to tell me I had to pay for glasses out of pocket because I was given a contact lens exam with my regular eye exam. When a rep from my vision insurance tried to contact them, they refused to talk to them. At least they never billed my insurance for the visit so I could go somewhere else in Walnutport. I've been telling my friends and family to stay far away from this place. *** Update (7/3/25) My family and I will be going somewhere else. There isn't a need for me to call anyone. You didn't want to learn my insurance coverage probably the first go around, so why would the next time be different? Keep denying this and I will post screenshots of the transcripts from my vision insurance. The "owner" won't be looking so good if I did. I see the other reviews and wonder to myself why I trusted this place. Shame on me.***

My insurance changed apparently but they didnt tell me anything! But good thing this place understood that i didnt know and they helped me to call Geisinger and figure it all out . I did have to pay a little bit but i got two pairs of glasses . Over all i was very happy with my experience and my glasses are very pretty . The young lady that helped me was very patiently and she made me feel like i was the most important person in the room . Very nice experience, i will definitely be referring people .

took my 3 kids there. My daughter's glasses can't be used because they hurt her eyes. a problem that was brought into them within the 1st month and has not gotten better. my son's glasses broke- right at the joint. didn't even brother taking them in because i do not want to deal with their front staff. sadly, prior to these experiences- i had recommended to someone else. they had their appt. i went with them to pick out glasses. only for them to be told they couldnt have glasses - they could only get contacts. something they claimed was our insurance's policy. the woman had a head piece on and clearly told us he could not do glasses. we contacted our insurance and surprise ... it wasn't. our insurance tried MULTIPLE times to contact them and no response. go ahead and tell me this didn't happen... you have documentation of the glasses being brought in 1 month in ( or at least should if it was a reputable business... oh wait- you prob don't then ) anddddd i have proof of your lack of reply from my insurance after multiple attempts. point is - find another place if you want quality care.

Waiting three weeks for a second time. Manager is very nice but other staff are like robots and keep accusing the lab. I live alone 62. Can't drive or take care of myself because I can't see. They also don't return phone calls Update: as the owner you can't be reached but you answer every negative review? All these people are lying? I expected nothing else. My glasses are paid for and I already told your staff you would NOT be servicing my needs going forward. How about as a business you do more to accommodate people instead of putting down their complaints here. My glasses better be in soon or I'm calling the fraud line for the carrier. Don't try me UPDATE 2: My ins carrier called them with me on the phone. Again they gave the same tired excuses about the lab. The stated I didn't come in until April 28. LIE. I went on Friday April 25. They didn't send them out until the 28th. I spoke to the place across from them EYELAND. Their turnaround is ten days. I called another in Brodheadsville and was told again ten days. The owner can try to say what they want here but Provider Relations at Medicare was notified especially since the lady from my carrier could not get a straight answer when she tried to pin them down to the 20th for delivery. It should also be said that I did do business with them years ago and didn't have a problem. Day 22 STILL WAITING! I saw my regular Eye Dr Ross. Showed him their prescription and he tested my eyes. He said there was no "wild changes" in my right eye that required the reorder. Something was wrong at the manufacturer Day 24-called. Bethany called back. I recorded the call for the insurance company Told now that the glasses are coming directly from the lab. No name or number for the lab. Sent their other comments and the call to Medicare Provider relations. For the record no staff have ever been harassed. Today was my first call trying to find my glasses and I knew they'd lie so recorded it. They don't like that I come here updating my review. I also put I on Facebook an X
