Had to take my disabled cousin there. He is 80 and on a walker with really bad back pain. We were there 3 hours and they had him up and down and walking all over the place. To get the surgery they want him to come back 3 different office visits for each eye. No concern for the fact that he can barely walk from the car to the door. No wheel chairs were seen, so not sure if they have them or not, but they never offered one. Would not recommend them for any elderly person.
Dr. Davis and the staff are wonderful. I was given an excellent exam & testing prior to my cataract surgery. I never had to wait long & everyone was extremely friendly. They answered all of my questions. The day of surgery went well. Very organized & they had a booklet with instructions for care after cataract surgery. There was even a sheet with times for your eye drops. I would highly recommend them for cataract surgery. Very well run & staff are friendly.
Not very happy with this eye center. Staff is good, anesthesiologist was great, but the ophthalmologist acted as though she was doing us a favor even seeing our loved one. I wouldn't recommend. Go somewhere where the physician cares about the patient more than chatting up her coworkers about her vacation while examining an elderly person's eyes.
Dr. Davis and her nurse, Amanda, were kind and efficient. The removal of the growth on my eyelid was more painful than they intended, but I know I can't fault them for it.
The wait time however was long and the young nurses working the front desk were SO RUDE. I was not greeted when I entered and was treated poorly when I asked where to check in as it was my first time here. You could hear the young nurses talking about the patients and snickering about those in person. Very unprofessional behavior!
Why have an appointment if you are going to sit for hours in a waiting room? The biggest issue, why is the payment for services stuck in the 90's. There is no electronic bill pay available. Yes, this costs a fee that I am sure you will pass on to the patient, but it would bring more accounts current. Your doctor's are paid well enough. Time to spend money to make money!
I would give them zero stars if possible. several weeks ago, I took my 90 yo mom for her appointment and after sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes, I said, "Boy are they late. My mom said, "oh, it is always like this. Sometimes I wait over an hour to be called back." (My mom goes often due to multiple eye issues.). When I went to inquire at the desk when she would be seen, the worker said, "Well, we are very busy today. I politely said, "Well, we had a 1:00 appt and clearly there is an issue with over scheduling." The worker just looked at me blankly.
When we were finally taken back (after an hour wait) not one person apologized, not the tech nor Jennifer Salvetti. I am in healthcare and if I am even 5 minutes late seeing my patient, the first words out of my mouth when I enter the room are, " I'm sorry I kept you waiting." Clearly, Dr. Salvetti thinks her time is much more valuable than any of her patients.
Now today, they called to cancel my mom's appointment on Friday for an eye injection (which she can't drive after and my sibling took off work to take her.)
Save yourself hours of waiting, canceled appointments, interactions with rude staff and go elsewhere.
I had an appointment scheduled for 9:45 and the office was clearly overbooked. The wait was excessive, and the customer service was terrible. The staff at the front desk were rude and dismissive, and at one point completely ignored me while I was standing there. Very unprofessional experience overall. Would not recommend but being with such a small town this is probably the only option. If I could give no stars I would.
From the staff to Dr Salvettu-Davis, everyone was very professional and helpful. I am very grateful to have had a successful cataract surgery and would recommend this facility and doctor.
