Walmart Vision & Glasses

Helpful and kind. Dr Walker is great and the staff is super friendly. I am writing this review because I could not believe that people actually wrote bad reviews because the doctor rescheduled a Saturday for a FUNERAL! When anyone misses work to attend a funeral, it's someone close. Shame on you. Is it inconvenient, yes. But he LOST A LOVED ONE! Those reviews should be taken down. Did they lose someone close and choose to pass on paying their last respects because of work? Probably not. And if so, maybe that was a choice, but no one should be talked down to because they lost someone and are grieving. The lack of understanding in this situation is unbelievable. Walmart has friendly staff, a great doctor, and affordable glasses. I highly recommend!

I had a good experience with Dr Walker (male) but went back and had to be seen by the female doctor, can't recall her name. Slightly older with glasses and she was super rude, short and had no bedside manner or enjoyment in her life that made me ever want to go back and see her as my doctor again. She even made me order contacts that I told her I didn't like how they felt because she refused to offer me other samples since I have sensitive eyes. The other staff that help with ordering glasses and contacts are wonderful as I've felt with multiple employees here. Unfortunately it was one of the worst doctor experiences I've had in 30 years, so it's a two star for me.

Unorganized chaos and incompetence. Do not recommend. Lied about calling to reschedule my appointment after waiting over a month to get in to see the doctor then the doctor just cancels an entire Saturday of appointments. I only booked with them because of Saturday hours but will be going back to Dr Salvetti now. Zero stars as the doctor has zero respect for patients.

Complete and total incompetence. Waited three weeks for my appointment and missed a weekend away to make it because I've been having eye problems. When I arrived I was told the doctor was out for a funeral. They said they left me a voicemail and I showed her my phone with missed calls and voicemails and had no call from them. Absolutely livid! If I could give them zero stars I would.

I can't say enough good things about Patty & Veronica, the opticians that helped me and my son! They were so kind, patient and helpful to me and my little boy. Thank you ladies so much for a great experience.

If I could give 0 stars they would get negative 10!! Do not waist your time or money!!! I had to go back and forth a total of five times!!! My contacts and glasses prescription were both wrong 3 times each! Even tho I told them before I left I couldn't see. DO NOT see the woman doctor. Short red hair with glasses. She's so unbelievably rude!!! I didn't wear the contacts to my reexamine because none told me to and they messed up the first one out of many and she said she couldnt and would not see me. After I sat there for my scheduled app 45 mins later. I refused to leave said I would put them in right away. She huffed and puffed and very rudely took me back. Spent 2 mins with me and sent me home with a pair of contacts that I couldn't even see outta!! One told me I had a stigmatism the second one said I had in both eyes and that my contacts would never be fully clear from that. Which is deff not true. The 3rd male doctor very nice got my prescription perfectly clear within five mins. Took the time to listen to what I actually had to say! After 3 doctors and five trips back and forth (I live 35 mins away) finally found a good doctor was a male very friendly only one that knew what he was doing. Still currently waiting on my glasses cause the script was wrong because they only have one doc that knows what he's doing and I got him last. Shocker had my app July 8th today is July 27th glasses still aren't in enough said!! Don't waist your time or money. I get being under staff and it's hard with covid but they are so unprofessional and rude!! They don't listen to what you say. Not organized and only one doctor knows what their doing!! I never write reviews but I want ppl to know they shouldn't waist their time or money!! After 200 dollars cash, five trips back and froth, (not exaggerating!!) 3 diff doctor, 18 days later, finally got my prescription for contacts, but still currently waiting for glasses. DONT GO HERE!!!

On October 19 2015 I had a appointment at the vision center in Walmart in Washington county PA. The appointment went well at first, I knew that my assurance would only cover frames and lenses or contacts. At the end of the appointment after the exam was done, I was ready to proceed to the check out I had found out that the fitting for the contacts was not covered by my insurance. This is the first time I have had an issue with the payment. Normally it was covered. Since I was unaware with this new cost I did not have that money on me. Upon finding out that i did not have the money on me at the time, as soon as the staff found out I was treated very rudely, having a lot of the staff commenting that I needed to take the trial pair of contacts out. One of the staff even yelled across the room to the gentleman who was helping me take care of the paperwork. They made me feel embarrassed, uncomfortable,as they stared with disapproval and annoyance. The gentleman who was helping me with my paperwork was absolutely amazing.

Dr. Walker is a very compassionate doctor who listens to your concerns and takes the time to answer all of your questions.
