America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Never have my husband and I felt so belittled about just prescription only visit. We prefer getting our glasses elsewhere. He literally tried making us feel stupid. My family has been with this company a very long time as this was now my last visit. Never again. We should have just walked out. Imagine if I wasn't with my husband.......

Brianna, Nicole, and the entire staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional when assisting me with an adjustment to my sunglasses. From the start, Matilda and the team made the experience of choosing both sunglasses and eyeglasses easy and enjoyable. I felt completely at home, and I truly appreciated their honest feedback on which frames suited me best. This place is fantastic--I highly recommend it to anyone, whether or not they have vision insurance. I look forward to continuing our professional relationship for years to come and will gladly recommend them to everyone I know.

Wait til im all done and ready to pay to tell me that since I added the contact exam I dont get the free glasses. So I paid more to only get an eye examine in my opinion you should let people know when making the appointment how it actually works. So ya I go to get glasses the main thing I needed with money being tight I thought hell ya great deal wrong

From the time I walked in the door with a friendly greeting, and had my eyes checked, and then checked by the doctor for prescription, and then checked out and worked with payment and insurance, everyone was extremely extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Prices are great!. Chances are you see the same doctor year after year. I've been coming here for years and I don't know why anyone would go to those ridiculously expensive places where they shuttle you around like cattle and all they care about is your money and how much insurance you have. When I walked out the door of America's Best I was provided a thorough understanding of the condition of my eyes. At the other place, no one provided me with the condition of my eyes; I had to ask before I left, after I paid my bill, and then I had to come back two more times because I could not see properly out of my glasses. Three times a charm. $275 for just any old frame at the other place. At America's Best you can get TWO pair of glasses, complete with the eye exam, and walk out the door paying A LOT less than that!...a lot less! Thank you America's Best!

I went to Americas Best in Wilkes Barre Pa today as I am LONG overdue for an eye exam. Dr Greco and Briana were amazing. Both took time to make sure thatall of my questions were answered and Briana took some extra time to double check to see if my insurance was accepted as I was originally told by the 800 # that they didn't accept mine. But Briana did a bit of extra hunting and found out that they actually do accept it. No fault of the folks who originally said no, as my insurance has many different sur names. Anyway, as far as bedside manners and great customer service, this team gets 5 stars from me.

I dk how there are so many 5 stars, my experience was nothing like the rest. I actually had a great experience up until I got to Matilda, the first woman was amazing. She had such a great sense of humor. Friendly, eased my mind with being so nervous. My biggest fear are my eyes. The dr went over everything, he was so thorough and kind. In and out! Then I get to the fun part The part where I pick my new glasses im paying complete cash for. No insurance. Im so excited! Im ready! Let's find a new pair for me! Yay! The dr brings me to Matilda. She was on her phone texting.. completely ignored anything I was trying to ask.... Barely answered any questions. I went in for the pair glasses, 139.99. And just found out because of matilda i ended up paying full price for everything instead of the deal I scheduled for. I kept asking "are these included? Is this included? I made it clear I didnt want to get anything outside of the deal, bc my grandmom went here and had a similar experience. Matilda offered me anti glare, and anti scratch. She said if I had it on my current glasses, I should get it on my new glasses. I asked if it was included. She said it would be 25 extra. Ok , ill take it. Grand total- 333. Minus the exam.? So they gave me a deal, but didnt give me a deal? Im confused. We went from 140, I paid 254. How sway?! Math aint mathing. So I get home amd look at the reciept- I paid for each topper, I paid for the glasses, there was no deal. So i call yhe 800 number. I have questions. How. Why? Luckily there is a 30 day money back. The customer service lady says oh, we'll you should of called this 800 number to say you werent getting the proper treatment- it was my first time there. How would I know to call and ask why this woman didnt want to answer any questions. I didnt even realize I was charged full price until I looked at the reciept. This is a foul way to do business. , I will never go back here again. And as soon as this snow storm passes, ill be in to get my money back minus the eye exam. Think twice before going here, I feel robbed because of an associate mire focused on her phone and overcharging. Smh. Buyer beware.

My son had a contact lens training appointment today Oct 9 2025. This is the first time he will be wearing contact lens. The girl doing the training. I did not get her name but she was so patient with my son and really did an amazing job helping him not blink when putting the contact lenses in. She had excellent customer service and was very patient and very professional. I highly recommend everyone go to her for the training.

Fantastic team working fantastic experience my wife and I already scheduled our next appointments we won't go anywhere else
