Crystal Vision Center -South Wilkes Barre

Wasn't thrilled with them. When we walked in the door they reviewed my insurance and they immediately took us to a display in the back corner which had the glasses that would be free with the insurance. I don't have free eye care insurance and I also have a high allowance towards glasses so I am not required to get the free ones. I also pay for high option eye care insurance and it is not cheap. They immediately profiled us and took us to free glasses then went on to personally help someone else. Guess they don't make money on free glasses so they didn't give us the time of day. Also, I had glasses from my eye doctor that I wore for a few years . Never had scratching issues. These lenses scratched so quickly even using spray and special cloth. Not worth going there. Just got new ones directly from eye doctor. Won't go back. When they were in Mountaintop they were awesome!

I love going to this Crystal Vision Center this is the second time I go there and they are great with the customers.... especially Leschly she is very friendly and polite and answered all my questions and I didn't have to wait long neither if they would have more Stars I would rate her with 100 she is awesome thank you Leschly for your great customer service you provided me with may God bless you always

Worst experience. Overcharged me for contacts and had me going back and forth with them over the phone to get them to review the correct payment amount w/insurance including with the "regional manager " who insisted their mistake was my fault. After discussing w/my insurance.. decided to find me another center..It took almost two wks for them to give script over to new place. I was out of town and they kept claiming they didn't get request fax or calls when new center was telling me they sent paperwork at least twice and called!..Ive been a customer over two years and each year place worsens. Do yourself a favor find another.

Exam felt very rushed not thorough at all. When selecting new glasses I was extremely limited and didn't want to order anything but was pushed into ordering pair which I now refuse to wear as the nose pieces rub the corner of my eyes the bifocal is not proper aligned and definitely not the correct prescription for me as I have blurred vision when trying to read. I will not return.

Every woman working here goes beyond taking care of you. I spoke to Kelly after having 2 pairs of trial contact lenses and she has a different brand waiting for me to pick up. They make sure you're happy and you're comfortable- something you don't get when you order online- which I was trying to do and gave up. Crystal's contacts are closely priced to anything online and they figure out the insurance, but if you have a problem they take care if it personally- not through a website or email. Something I totally appreciate. All of you have been wonderful- thank you

I think this place is very incompetent with payment details. I went here a while back and had major issues with them accepting Medicaid. I called the main guy in Scranton, and PA Human Services, who said it was paid and got my glasses, which took around 4 weeks. This was a long wait, especially since they somehow screwed up the Medicaid payment. They said they only accept HMO, but the HHS lady said they have to accept Medicaid even without HMO activation, or they aren't in compliance. This place is very shady in my opinion. I wouldn't risk going here if you are on Medicaid or any government Healthcare provider. I needed to call HHS when I went there, and the HHS lady told them to be in compliance or get reported; they then complied, but now have added a bill from out of nowhere. I was completely paid off, received my glasses (after a month), then go back a year later to find a bill? I would just stay away from this place; I gotta contact HHS again about this strange bill. I originally gave them 3 stars, which was kind considering they made me jump through hoops and took forever to get glasses to me. They are 1 star, deal with at your own risk. Get signed receipts if you must deal with this place. The staff is incompetent; the doctor was decent, but the billing is atrocious and possibly out of compliance with Medicaid. I can't believe this even happened, because I talked to the main boss in Scranton and HHS. Now, I have to call HHS again over these people's poor bookkeeping. Overall impression of service, hated it. Avoid or end up like me with a 3 page Google review and hours of waiting on hold with Health and Human Services.

My wife and I have both been going here for 4 years now. Staff is always pleasant and helpful especially the optometrist. I would have given a 5 star review except that waiting for them to open the staff member parked right in front of the door. My opinion only but I believe the staff should not take the prime parking from the customer. There is no handycap parking.

I had a great experience at Crystal Vision Center in WIlkes-Barre. Kelly and Maria were patient and helpful with helping me learn how to put in contacts. They made sure I left with everything I needed, and then some. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be going back.
