Willow Eye Care

I haven't been to the eye doctor in several years. I recently got new insurance and used to go to Willow Eye Care when I was younger. They contacted me unable to look up my insurance. I found the information the next day and called to provide it. The man who answered the phone was condescending and very rude right away. Iwas trying to communicate with him, but he was clearly irritated by my not understanding. I asked him to please stop being rude and he abruptly stated he would cancel my appointment and hung up on me. When I tried to call back he ignored the phone call and then sent it to voicemail. Apparently they do not want new clients. Find somewhere else to go.

I take my whole family to this practice. I have been with them since before their current office. As a nurse I am very aware of assessment skills and whether a practitioner is doing their job. Dr OKoren is very up to date on standard of care and does excellent assessments while being great connecting with each patient and knowing more about each person. You can tell immediately that she loves what she does. Both she and Harry work to make the most of insurance coverage putting in extra phone calls to get the best deals for patients. Recently I had flashes of light that could mean retinal emergency.. Harry had me in the office with in few hours. You can't do better to trust your eyesight with them.

My husband and I have been going here for years and now our children are as well. I appreciate that they understand insurance so well and make getting your contacts or glasses seamless. The office is always calm and quiet. Dr. is very good at what she does.

I love this place. The optometrist and optician are very nice and very efficient. I've never waited for longer than a minute or two! Have been going to them for over 10-15 years.

I love this practice. They are incredibly nice and super helpful - especially when my child had an issue that we were struggling to solve. Harry always asks about my kids and is incredibly helpful. I can't recommend this practice enough! Thank you for all you do.

Very good doctor! Never kept waiting for appointment. Although the office is small, they have all up to date equipment. Harry is not rude, he is very helpful and knowledgeable - as other reviewers say "rude", I don't think so. I recommend them fully!

The Dr. is very efficient and very Good at what she do. She was very polite and gentle with what ever she was doing. BUT the guy at the front desk was rude to me three times. He needs to better his customer service skills.

This place is beyond terrible. I went here with my wife because our crappy insurance wouldn't pay for anything else. The people who work here are generally rude and awkward. My wife settled on a frame and lenses and has had to go back at least four times in a year to get new lenses bc the coating peeled off. This last time, they said they wouldn't do it because it was 8 days since the warranty expired. Once when I was there, I inquired if they had experience with low vision clients and the woman treated me like an idiot and insisted that I didn't really know what low vision means. I'm legally blind, I told her. She replies, well you don't look blind. Just in case you don't know, that's horribly offensive to say to someone with a disability and it's shocking to hear it from a supposed medical professional. I beg you to avoid this place for your own good and out if solidarity.
