I had a detached retina and severe cataracts and was completely blind in left eye. Dr Altman was able to remove the cataracts, floaters, and replace the lens and restored my vision, even though the inside of my eye was nearly destroyed from cataracts and retina problem. Dr Altman is very friendly, humble and a good listener. He explained the surgery and made me feel very comfortable. I am grateful to Dr Altman for seeing me in an emergency and coordinating with another surgeon, Dr Barbera to do cataract lens replacement surgery at the same time as getting the floaters removed still present after retina reattachment. I now have vision that overall is better than what I had before going blind. I can drive without glasses.

If the rating could go higher, I would score higher. I met him because I had a hole in my eye, and he did an emergency corneal transplant almost 28 years ago. He opened his office for me on the weekend to accommodate me. I married, moved away, had problems and he immediately fit me into his schedule. When you say that God gives gifts, I know that his surgical hands and anointed brain are his gifts from God. I could not ask for a better doctor, and to be frank, I will not see anyone but him. He is a no-nonsense doctor; he is direct and to the point with facts and the possible solutions. Dr. Altman, hands down is a blessing, and I pray that his reward in heaven is great, because he used the gifts God gave him to make everyone life he has been entrusted with, better. I'VE SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS SOONER!!! I've always had glasses since 3rd grade. I'll be 39 this upcoming year. This decision to have Lasik surgery was one of the best decisions ever. Dr. Altman was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process!!!! I am a person who gets very nervous with people touching my eyes, and Dr. Altman was sure to explain everything and answered all of my questions before proceeding to the next steps. It really says something about Dr. Altman and his team with trusting something so important as someone's vision!!! This has changed my life forever and I could not be happier!!! Dr. Altman and his staff were very professional and they really put their patients needs first. If you're questioning yourself to get the procedure, definitely go with it!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Dr. Altman is the best! He performed cataract surgery on both my eyes this summer.The results were excellent! He and his staff were thorough and explained everything to me. My surgeries were pain free and it was a very positive experience. My vision is almost like new. I appreciated his skillful hands and trusted him completely with my sight. I cannot say enough about Dr. Altman and my experience with getting a Lasik procedure done! Honestly, I'm not even out of the parking lot yet and I'm writing this review for anyone who has any doubts to see. I went from rotten vision with thick glasses and contact lenses, barely able to see my child's face at arms length before my procedure. Now I have 20/15 vision! I had set my expectations at "better vision", and what I got instead was "better than perfect" vision. Dr. Altman was professional, capable, reassuring, and was a joy to interact with. If you've ever considered getting this treatment done, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Altman. This is the best money I think I've ever spent. Worth every penny. Thanks again Doc! You rock!

Dr. Altman was recommended to me by my regular eye doctor and right from the beginning I knew he was the right choice. He is straightforward, tells you exactly what you need to know, and answers any questions. The process was seamless, Dr. Altman and his team make everything very easy. My insurance offers another practice at a significant discount but choosing to go with Dr. Altman at Eye Consultants was worth every extra dollar. At the time of the review, I am 4-5 days post surgery and it is like nothing ever happened. I have 20/20 vision (nearly 20/15) and no issues. In my opinion, this process could not have been any better. If you are looking for corrective eye surgery, call Dr. Altman.

Dr Altman did an outstanding job with my lasik procedure! He was thorough when explaining all details of the procedure as well as the pros and cons. My experience from consultation, to the procedure and follow up appointments have gone above and beyond my expectations. He clearly has many years of experience, and his staff are all so kind and thorough as well! I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and my vision is now a perfect 20/20! Dr. Altman did an amazing job with my Lasik surgery! I have such a bad astigmatism he wasn't sure I would be able to have perfect vision but he would get me as close as possible. He actually got my vision to 20/20! Better outcome than I could've hoped for! He was wonderful through the entire process and talked me through everything. I am finally eyeglass free after needing them all the time for 36 years!! This is what I dreamed about for a long time! Would highly recommend Dr. Altman!!
