i would highly recommend dr. michael izzo to anyone. he is very caring and wants to know you're doing well. the difference after having my cataracs removed is amazing. i can see to drive at night with no issues, no glasses, and no glare!!

I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Benjamin Nicolas at Berks Eye Physicians & Surgeons, and the experience has been absolutely outstanding. Thanks to the Vivity lenses Dr. Nicolas helped me select, I now have 20/20 vision at distance, intermediate, and near. This is the first time in my entire life that I haven't needed glasses, not even reading glasses. Dr. Nicolas explained every step of the process clearly and patiently, which made me feel completely comfortable and informed. The surgery was smooth, the recovery was easy, and the outcome exceeded my every expectation. I am incredibly grateful for the skill, care, and professionalism Dr. Nicolas exhibited. A routine eye exam with my optometrist convinced me to call Berks Eye Physicians & Surgeons. Whatever hesitation I had vanished upon arrival, as the check-in people greeted me like an old friend. At that point, I knew I was in the right place. Several other staff members performed the necessary tests with professionalism and courtesy. At my initial appointment, I met Dr. Kasey Pierson and received an extremely helpful information packet that really covered any questions I might have, from types of lenses to post-surgery care. Every visit after that was the same unrivaled friendly and professional experience from beginning to end. From the first moment, it was obvious Dr. Pierson was knowledgeable as well as talented. His diagnosis of my cataracts, recommendations, and explanation of my present condition and future expectations instilled complete confidence in whatever he needed to do for my eyes. Plus, Dr. Pierson's genuine warmth and enthusiasm to improve my life sealed the deal. So after two cataract surgeries, I am typing this review in ambient light without glasses. Dr. Pierson essentially restored a huge part of my life, and I am eternally grateful for his expertise and skill. My sight is amazing now and the world has colors! I highly endorse and recommend Berks Eye Physicians & Surgeons and Dr. Kasey Pierson!

I had a wonderful experience at Berks Eye Physicians in Wyomissing. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire visit feel comfortable and professional. The eye exam was thorough, and I appreciated how the doctor took the time to explain everything clearly. The optical department was equally meticulous, helping me find the right frames and lenses with care and attention to detail. I felt truly cared for throughout the entire process. Highly recommend for anyone seeking quality eye care with a personal touch!

Dr. Nicholas is exceptional! I see Dr. Nicholas regularly because of a medication I take, but Dr. Nicholas also just did cataract surgery to both eyes and the experience was exceptional too! Not only is Dr. Nicholas an excellent doctor but he really is just a kind, good person. I would highly recommend him!

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Dr Izzo did a great job on my cataract surgeries. The follow ups with his staff and Dr Horst were comprehensive and very indepth to answer my questions. Would recommend them to anyone.

Arrived this afternoon on 11/18 to pick up frames two weeks after I ordered them. I was told they'd call me when they came in; that didn't happen as I had to call them to find out they arrived. The glasses were not the frames I tried on and ordered. I even showed the girl a photo with me wearing the frames I ordered in store (3 different angles) and her first reaction was to tell me that I thought they were different frames simply due to photo angle. Clearly the girl needs glasses more than I do. She was incredibly rude and didn't at all seem apologetic for my time wasted, nor did she open her mind to the idea that someone on their end screwed up. Worst customer service interaction I've ever experienced. Especially when I know for a fact I only touched, tried on, and placed a single pair of glasses on the table to be ordered. Then her and another girl questioned how that could be true. Sorry ladies; I know what I like. I walked in, picked up frames, tried them on, loved them and asked you to order them. Not everyone complicates things. Now I have to wait for frames to come in to try on AGAIN before they can send out AGAIN for prescription. This place has horrible customer service.
