Wonderful doctor! She explained everything she was doing and listened to all my questions. She was really sweet, and my daughter felt really comfortable around her. The front desk staff were super nice as well. It is worth the 50 minute drive.

We recently saw Dr Barbe for our first visit for my 9 yr old son. The office staff was fabulous, and our wait time was almost non-existent. Every staff member we encountered was friendly. My son is neurodiverse, and Dr Barbe was great with him. She was quick and efficient, without rushing or being pushy. She was personable, fun and professional. The Pottsville office is an hour away for us, but we won't hesitate to go back. Highly recommend! My only negative was the lack of confirmation. I received no confirmation or appt reminder - which led to me second guessing our appt and calling the day before to confirm myself.

Had the pleasure of having Dr Barbe assist my son. She's wonderful, and so are all the staff. 10/10 recommend!

We recently visited this pediatric eye doctor for an exam for my almost 4-year-old daughter, and overall, the experience was a positive one. The staff was incredibly friendly and did a wonderful job interacting with my daughter--making her feel comfortable and at ease throughout the appointment. What could have been a scary or overwhelming visit for a young child was instead a smooth and calm experience, thanks to their thoughtful and kid-friendly approach. That said, there were a couple of downsides worth noting. Our original appointment was unexpectedly cancelled, and we were only notified by a letter in the mail. In today's world, a phone call, email, or even a text would have been a much more effective and timely way to communicate that change. Additionally, even though we had an early appointment, we experienced a long wait before being seen. Waiting for an extended period with a young child is never easy, and considering our early time slot, it was surprising that the office was already running behind. Despite these issues, we appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff and how well they worked with our daughter. With some improvements in communication and scheduling, the overall experience could be excellent.
