I saw Dr. Chen as a new patient today. I scheduled a few weeks ago. All the staff I encountered were courteous and professionally. Dr. Chen took his time to listen to some of my concerns and did a thorough exam. I left feeling assured my eye health is good and received information at checkout for how my annual visit will be scheduled for next year. I've had some very negative experience recently with different providers so this was a refreshing change and why I felt the need to post a review. I would recommend this office for your vision needs.

What a wonderful experience it was to have cataract surgery! Everything went so smoothly and I so enjoy my excellent vision the minute I wake up in the morning. Many thanks to Dr. Bilder!

FAHGETABOUTIT We stopped in here a couple of weeks ago to set up an examination appointment because my optometrist said that I need to have my cataracts evaluated and possibly removed. We had to wait for the two elderly receptionist ladies to stop their nasty gossip session and finally acknowledge our presence. We had questions about scheduling, insurance, pricing and the doctor's availability. Every one of our questions was met with a very sarcastic and rude reply by both of the ladies. Finally we just said fahgetaboutit and we left the office. Obviously this business has too many clients willing to pay the salaries of these two grumpy old ladies.

Rudest front desk in medicine. Nasty, disrespectful, they talked about the patient that just left. Wonder what happens when I leave. Two old battle axes whose retirement needs to be tomorrow. When calling to schedule, I was informed this practice was the only of its kind in York and I would need to wait till spring. For that reason alone, I will schedule my diabetic eye check anywhere else but here. I just saw their rating of 3.8. Seems high.

My experience with Dr. Bilder was wonderful. I had never had any type of surgery but he made me feel very comfortable about having cataract surgery. He spent time with me and answered my questions. He even called me that night after my surgery. The entire office staff is great too. I will recommend him to anyone who needs cataract surgery.

My wife had an eye appointment today with Dr. Snyder who she found friendly and professional, however the receptionists were curt, impatient, unfriendly and could not answer her question about refraction costs on her intake form. It turns out that no matter what insurance you have, if you get an updated prescription they will charge you $50 which she only found out after the appointment. I have been a patient of Dr. Builder's for years whom I also found friendly and professional but I will be making my next eye appointment elsewhere.

5 stars for Dr. Snyder. He is a very caring, friendly Dr. who also listens to what I have to say. Thanks to Dr. Snyder, an early diagnosis of a critical eye problem was caught and now being treated. Very professional. I will drive a distance to be treated by him. Highly recommend ! Ann W.

Dr. Snyder is a competent ophthalmologist and the optometrists are knowledgeable and patient.
