This was the best eye test and glasses-fitting experience I have ever had. I lost my glasses in the surf at the Gold Coast and had been in a panic for an entire day. I searched on one of the largest Chinese community platforms, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), and someone who had experienced a similar situation highly recommended Elite Eyecare. From the moment I arrived, Sherry gave me a warm welcome and even shared Chinese New Year blessings with me, which I truly appreciated. After a quick sign-up process, Chris conducted the most professional and detailed eye test I've ever had. In my previous experiences, optometrists often gave me an "almost right" prescription. However, Chris performed a thorough examination and found the most accurate and comfortable lenses I have ever worn. He carefully selected the best-fit lenses available, and Sherry helped me choose a stylish frame. She also measured my pupillary distance and other details so that John could make precise adjustments during the lens fitting process. When the glasses were nearly finished, it was already past closing time. I felt a bit embarrassed for keeping them late and said the glasses felt comfortable enough. However, John patiently continued to fine-tune the adjustments to ensure they were perfectly balanced and truly comfortable. I genuinely appreciate the professionalism and dedication throughout the entire process. Thank you so much to the whole team!

Today I saw Shane White who is a very caring Optometrist who is always willing to explain and does not rush you through your visit. He genuinely wants to help people sort out their eye problems. The glasses Shane made me a year ago were excellent. Thank you Shane for your professionalsm understanding and kindness. It was much appreciated. Today I saw Chris McMahon. I have seen him a number of times over the years and have always recommended him. Recently due to circumstances I have seen a couple of other optometrists. Hopefully those circumstances won't happen again. Chris's professionalism and knowledge is absolutely outstanding. Though for me being able to understand what is happening is extremely important.Chris clearly explains all that is and maybe happening to your eyes and his solution's work. Saw Shane on a Saturday morning, he has a very pleasant manner, very informative re my concerns of a tiny "pimple" type lump on my eyelid plus a lesion on the other eye, near lower eyelashes..both weren't giving me grief, and Shane explained that they weren't cause for concern. That little bit of professionalism is so assuring/calming, that I don't need to be concerned. The shop is just down from the Pacific hotel, upstairs in Australia Fair, on the same as the pub.

Chris is such a good eye doctor. Really knows his stuff because of his years of experience and learning and he makes you feel comfort and safe. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Best eye practice on the coast!!
