We couldn't be more grateful and happy with Yas, she has been extraordinarily helpful and supportive. My husband and I had an issue with the initial formula missing the antireflex and we needed to come back to the store a couple of times however from day one she was extremely helpful, always with a smile, remembeing us straight away and really listening to our concerns and understanding those little details like small adjustments that makes the difference. Thank you Yas for being so great!

I recently attended an eye test and was advised that I required glasses. During the appointment, I was told that because I work in the centre, I would receive a discount. The quote was written down and explained on paper. However, when I later visited another Specsavers location, I was informed that the "discount" is already included in the original price. This left me feeling misled, as the discount was presented as an added benefit when it was not -- it felt more like a tactic to secure the sale. When I first began looking at frames, I advised staff that I did not require assistance and simply wanted to browse. Despite this, I was closely watched, repeatedly approached, and given unsolicited opinions. Although I eventually accepted assistance, it did not lead anywhere. I felt rushed to make a decision and uncomfortable having to repeatedly admit that I did not like the frames I was being directed to try on. Two styles I personally preferred were dismissed as "not as good," which ultimately discouraged me from feeling confident enough to make a final decision. Glasses are a very personal choice -- regardless of whether others think they suit, it is ultimately up to the wearer to feel comfortable and confident in them. Which is why I personally wanted to browse independently without outside opinions clouding my decision making. On a separate visit after work, I returned to try on frames again and clearly told multiple staff members -- four different people within under five minutes -- that I did not require assistance. When the fourth staff member approached me, I explained that I had already been approached several times, that I experience anxiety, and that I simply wanted to browse independently. She then turned to her coworker and loudly repeated what I had said in a mocking tone. The coworker laughed and responded with something along the lines of, "She's like, just leave me alone, hahaha." They continued discussing and joking about the interaction intentionally within earshot. For the remainder of the time I was there (approximately 15 minutes), staff remained huddled in the entry of back room loudly laughing, chatting, and staring in my direction through the mirror as I tried on frames. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and self-conscious. As someone who works in customer service -- and within the same centre -- I found this behaviour deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I came in fully intending to make a purchase, but due to how I was treated, I chose not to proceed. No KPIs/Sales targets justify misleading customers, bombarding them, and making them feel uncomfortable for simply wanting to browse independently. I will not be returning to this store or any Specsavers location in the future.

Came in close to my appointment time and had to wait a little longer before being called -- likely just a busy period. Once things started, everything went smoothly. I really appreciate the thorough eye check and an optometrist who genuinely listens and wants the best outcome for you. I came in after tearing a contact lens during an overseas trip. I'd had an eye test overseas, but the prescription turned out to be too strong, making it hard to see or read close-up -- something that wasn't picked up at the time. At Specsavers Australia Fair, my eyes were carefully re-checked and all my concerns were taken seriously. Turns out my distance prescription hasn't changed at all, and I simply need reading glasses, which honestly feels like the best solution. I haven't had my glasses made yet, but I'll definitely be back once I find a frame that suits my wide face, low bridge, and adjustable nose pads. This isn't my first visit here -- the friendly staff, great service, and excellent optometrists are exactly why I keep coming back.

Had an amazing experience with the team at Aus Fair. I was welcomed with some of the best customer service from Mel at the front desk. She was polite, friendly and helped me choose glasses that compliment my features. I had a comfortable, informative and professional eye test with Lachlan and Shaun completed the transaction with the best banter. Top notch experience I will definitely be back again

Maddison was extremely caring, thorough and pleasant. She alerted me to the deterioration of my cataract and gave me options to address this moving forward. I would highly recommend her. Yas and Taylah made the choosing of frames and pick up seamless as usual. I always make sure to schedule my yearly appointment when I'm up from Sydney as I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was served by a young lady with blonde hair who mentioned she was still in training. She was absolutely lovely, very professional, and made the experience genuinely enjoyable. She's doing a fantastic job and is a real asset to the team.
