Bristol County Eye Care's slogan says it all --Care You Can Count On. I needed some help with a very complex eye issue, and Dr. Sakovits was there for me with his patient, caring, and truly professional attention. He explained the problems and laid out my options, and referred me to an equally professional colleague for further tests Dr. Sakovits could not perform in his office. I could not have been more satisfied with the care I received from him, his staff, and the colleague to whom he referred me. Obviously, Dr. Sakovits is a first-rate optometrist who operates within a network of equally competent colleagues.

I would like to share my experiences with Dr. Andy Sakovits who has been very patient, listening to my symptoms with great attention and then coming up with a game plan. I did not feel rushed, instead, I felt like a VIP. I would also like to thank Sonia for going out of her way to make an appointment with the specialist for me while I was there. I was so grateful for her efforts in assisting me to obtain an appointment. Since moving to Bristol, I have seen two other optometrists who do not offer the same level of care as Dr. Sakovits. My daughters and I have been patients now for over a year and will continue to do so for many more years.

I've been using Bristol County Eye Care for 30+ years and have been extremely pleased with every aspect of my eye care. Dr. Sakovits and his staff have delivered first rate customer service that is second to none. Everyone is extremely efficient, courteous, and personable while generating a very warm and friendly atmosphere atypical of many doctor offices. Moreover, Dr. Sakovits is one of the most professional, pleasant, and sincere physicians I've had the pleasure knowing and his volunteer work in many of the third world nations makes him a fine humanitarian and upstanding member of the East Bay community. His selflessness, dedication, hard work, and demonstrated professionalism reflect great credit upon himself, the field of optometry, and all the physicians of Rhode Island. I don't mind saying, "he's the best". If you are looking for a physician delivering excellent eye care, then you owe it to yourself to give Dr. Sakovits and the entire staff at Bristol County Eye Care a try. You won't be disappointed. I was in search of a new doctor (after an unsatisfactory experience at my last doctor) and I couldn't have been more happy with choosing Dr. Carl and Andy Sakovits. Even during the height of COVID protocols, they made me feel comfortable and safe at their office. I had a great visit where the had a full eye exam but also explained what they were doing, what a treat! I look forward to working with Dr. Sakovits in the future and couldn't recommend them higher.

Kindness, professionalism, knowledge,and concern shown patients by the entire staff is remarkable. Dr. Andy listens to you, addresses you concerns and works to resolve them in a professional and reassuring manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sakovits for over 15 years. In my opinion, Dr,Sakovits is the gold standard as a health care professional. He explains things very well. He always welcomes questions and concerns. I have never felt rushed even though I know how full his schedule is. He is very knowledgeable, personable, respectful and caring. The office staff are very courteous and helpful!

I was not a regular patient at Bristol County Eye Care when I called the office because of an eye infection. I had moved from out-of-state and did not then have a local ophthalmologist. I do now. Sandra scheduled an appointment that morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dr. Andy was professional and personable. He was thorough, answered my questions, quickly assessed the eye problem, and prescribed treatment. By the follow up visit, the infection was gone. I plan on continuing with Dr. Andy as my local ophthalmologist and have already recommended Bristol County Eye Care to a family member.

I was a first time patient and saw Dr. Arias - I had a great experience - it is clear she is super knowledgable and cares about her patients! Dr. Arias was extremely detailed in explaining why she was doing what she was doing and exactly what was going on with my eyes/a path forward to resolve some issues I've been having. There was no "rush" to get me in and out the door - Dr. Arias really took the time to be sure every question I had was answered and it was evident that she wanted me feel cared for and comfortable. I cannot recommend Dr. Arias and the Bristol County Eye Care office as a whole enough!!
