Dr. Chan has been treating my son since he was nine months old when he received his first pair of glasses. He's almost 17 now. She's an amazing doctor with outstanding knowledge. I wouldn't go to anybody else for my children

Dr. Chan has been treating my children for over five years. She is very professional, courteous, and punctual. I highly recommend her!

The experience at this office is truly unremarkable. If you have the chance to see Dr Chan, you will have a good experience- but the likelihood of that is low as the office is HORRIBLY run. Unfortunately, the front desk staff is unprofessional and lacks customer service skills. Today we had a 10:15 appointment, we arrived at 10:00 and had not been called OR communicated to as of 11 am - a full hour later. When I approached the desk, they stated we were next to be seen, but we then waited another 15 mins without being called. As the appointment was going to take 2 hours (Full exam and Dilation) I had to reschedule, as I hadn't planned a 3-4 hour eye appointment. The experience was horrible and coupled by the staff indifference to the tardiness of their operations. Furthermore, the waiting room was full of people who also appeared to be in the same situation as our family- they had been waiting and had restless children and frustrated parents. Sub-par, disappointing and unacceptable are the words that now come to mind when I think about this practice. I was so disappointed that I decided to find a new optometrist. To do so requires releasing records from your old dr to your new dr. I called "Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus Associates" asking for a release of records document to be mailed to me so I could send my new Dr my family medical records. This office staff informed me "they don't email and they don't mail" those forms, if I wanted to release my families' records, I had to drive to providence and go into the office to complete the form. So not only is this practice grossly inefficient in their day-to-day logistics, but they are also operating circa 1950, if they don't believe in Mail or Email. Do not go to this practice it isn't worth your time or energy.

Great Dr always very kind, caring, and honest! Our Daughter had to have an eye procedure done and results are amazing!! Every check up we have with her she is always right there when we get in. Our daughter is very shy around most Dr's doesn't really talk or answer questions, but she is very comfortable with Dr. Chan.

Great place ! Got my son right in within the week and glasses were there in a couple days. Dr. Chan was very thorough and personable, great environment.

The office is clean and child friendly. The staff is attentive and efficient and Dr. Chan is excellent. She explained to my daughter the conditions of her eyes in a way she could understand. She was knowledgeable and gave me options for treatments as well. Thank you Dr. Chan!

Dr Chan is SO great with my child. His first visit was traumatizing but now he is so excited to go back to show her his patch poster! She is so patient and kind and I would recommend her to anyone needing a pediatric eye doctor.

Dr. Chan and her staff are wonderful! My daughter had a very thorough exam and Dr. Chan took the time to explain her findings. She is kind and caring and my daughter always looks forward to visiting her eye doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Chan and her team!
