I just moved to the Narragansett Avenue area from the east side and figured that switching to this closer optometrist would be easier than moving my schedule around. I don't suggest doing that, receptionists here don't seem to know what insurance they take or don't take. My appointment was for 4:30pm when they close at 5pm, so Doctor Sam just moved me along in about twelve minutes with little to no interest, information or even entusiam for literally treating a patient. However, the receptionist did know how to shake me down for 60 bucks. Moral of the story; don't cheat on your optometrist and if you do STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
My husband has been going to this office for over 20 years. My son had a pair of glasses that were picked up a few weeks ago. The arm on them was crooked but to not make a fuss we dealt with it. Well my son's glasses ended up with no arm because it fell off. my husband brought the glasses to the office to show them and explain to them what is going on and why they couldn't fix it. They told us
that we were the ones that glued the arm back on the glasses. My husband explained to them we did not glue them, which was the reason why we drove there to explain to them what was going on and what they could do to fix it because it fell off. The woman kept insisting that we were the ones that attempted to glue it and not them. My husband explained to them that we do not have good insurance. We paid cash out-of-pocket for them. The woman at the desk said "I don't care how you paid for them" very rude and unprofessional!!
Yas and Chanel are the best secretaries I've ever met. They're so polite and definitely need a raise
Office staff and eye doctors are very caring. I have never had a bad experience there.
I came here for the first time the other day. I hadn't been to an optometrist in well over 10 years. After checking me in, I wanted less than a minute to get an evaluation and same to get my exams done. Quick and efficient. The doc was super sweet and professional. I highly recommend her!
Very nice and quiet environment. Their show room is beautiful. Not a long wait to be seen. And they have Spanish speaking Doctors and receptionist witch makes things easier for my mom when I take her to be seen.
Called today because my son kicked me in my eye and it was a pain I've never felt before. They got me an appointment the same day as a new patient. Dr Miller was an absolute angel and definitely helped me today, thankfully the whole team did, I was very scared and needed to be treated by the right authorities so I'm very grateful especially now to be a patient of theirs.
The service this office provides is excellent. Usually quiet, employees are helpful and friendly, I brung two of my kids here and the Optometrist was phenomenal. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a great optometrist.
