Dr Sun & Associates

I had to renew my annual prescription and found Dr Sun to be in network--I had a renewal for my eye glass and contacts prescription. Just a quick note here to say what a wonderful experience this was. The eye doctor was knowledgeable, direct and answered all my questions, even the ones about laser vision corrective surgery. Just overall a pleasant, experience. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you so much for making this experience seemless.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sun. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly invested in helping me with my eye issue. It was clear from the start that she cares about her patients and wants the very best for them. She even scheduled a follow-up just two days after my initial appointment to make sure my eye was healing properly, and she was just as wonderful during that visit. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. I highly recommend Dr. Sun to anyone in need of exceptional eye care.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Sun. I have been wearing glasses since I was 5-months-old, and this was the first time an optometrist took the time to explain things to me. She was so thorough and I finally understand everything about my eyes and my vision, for the first time in 37 years. Dr. Sun was kind and compassionate throughout the entire appointment. This was a last minute appointment because of an expired prescription and they were able to flex and help me, which was above and beyond. I am now Dr. Sun's biggest fan and would recommend her to anyone looking for an optometrist. Deserves more than 5 stars!

Dr. Sun is hands-down the most thorough, concerned eye care professional I have visited. I have been to several eye doctors since moving to Charleston from NYC and Dr. Sun agreed to see me same-day/at closing time after I found myself without contact lenses after losing a bag during the hurricane evacuation. I was a new patient and was treated with so much concern and a clear dedication to achieving the best vision possible for me. The staff processed my paperwork, insurance, and never complained about staying late, and Dr. Sun repeated some tests to insure I was happy with the results. I look forward to a long relationship with her. Don't let the location fool you - it's just another convenience!

I haven't had an eye doctor that I'd rave about since college. I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Sun and her staff were nice and super helpful to see if my insurance offered any kind of discount. They did a thorough exam. The biggest thing was Dr. Sun corrected an issue that I've been dealing with for a while, so long I actually forgot it was an issue and had learned to deal with it. I saw another doctor that never provided an answer. Dr. Sun was extremely patient with all of my questions and nervousness over dilation. I might actually start going to the eye doctor once a year like I'm supposed to!
