I recently had the pleasure of visiting the America's Best Eyeglasses on Forest Drive in Columbia, SC, and the entire experience was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, the staff was polite, kind, and incredibly helpful, making the process of getting new glasses seamless and enjoyable. The eye exam was thorough and professional. Once it was time to choose my frames and lenses, the team provided great guidance without being pushy. They helped me find the perfect pair of glasses and a stylish pair of sunglasses. Perhaps the most impressive part was their efficiency with the logistics. They handled the insurance filing flawlessly, and I was thrilled when my new glasses and sunglasses were ready for pickup in just five days! If you're in the Columbia area and need eye care or new eyewear, I wholeheartedly recommend the America's Best on Forest Drive. They truly exceeded all my expectations!

Had an appointment scheduled for 10:15 and didnt get seen for an exam until after I waited for 2 hours. On top of that the woman who performed my exam acted like she was disgusted to be having to do her job and the people checking out customers practically had to do rock paper scissors to see who was gonna check me out so I could finally leave. Would honestly rather pay double to never have to deal with that place again.

This place has no respect for clients. No in house doctors and what they do is to record video of the test screening and send it to a doctor remotely. Even with that, you'd have to wait for more than 2 hours to get called after the test. They will keep telling you the doctor is on break whilst you're not even aware he's not in house. No prior information of anything remotely and why should I scheduled an appointment only for me to get my time waisted because of doctors unavailability or working remotely. If one should make an appointment and get their time waisted for 3 hours for doctors unavailability, then, what is the SENSE in scheduling an appointment!! SHAME! YOU GUYS SHOULD DO BETTER!!!!

I've been coming here for years and always feel taken care of. Most recently AK helped me with my glasses order and made the process simple. He was kind, funny and honest. He told me the best options based on my prescription and took his time even though it was a very busy day for them. I appreciate his thorough care and excellent customer service

Had an eye appointment scheduled for 3:30 pm last week! Only one customer was ahead of me! I sat and waited while all the patients that came after me finished and left! I was the one African American patient there just waiting! Didn't like the attitude of the OD! Smug and distant! I actually started to leave but decided to stay! I am 69 and ambulate by walker and had come a long way! Spoke to the African American gentleman working there and expressed my convetns about being there so long and watching all the white people coming in and going out! It was a remote eye exam, and I asked about my cataracts as I already knew about them! They were only addressed when I asked! I actually felt strange when the African American patient was before me was finished I notice this withdrawn, distant OD come out and retrieve air freshener and take back into exam room!!!! Now I had insurance that would pay up to 400.00 for frames alone!I chose 89.00 frames but still had an almost 200.00 out of pocket to pay! Now I was wearing glasses from America's Best from the Clemson Rd area. Someone actually got off their chair and assisted me with my choices!! Not a soul assisted me here! Can I just say; I WILL NEVER RETURN! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Love the forest drive location. We came in and took advantage of the deal, found two glasses that I loved immediately! Everything was quick and easy and the glasses only took a week to come in! Highly recommend :)

Ms Claretha the assistant manager is the freaking WORST! I went in to purchase some glasses and I couldn't remember exact special prescription that Doctor prescribed me for my work and Claretha failed to tell me that the glasses that I needed were the INTERMEDIATE glasses. She was stuck on asking me with an attitude, if I needed the glasses for near or far and rudely talking to me like a dog,stated to me( I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEAR AND FAR) WOW, I've never been treated so rudely in a reputable Corporation before. This lady shouldn't be working in the public for real! She's pretty lady but her attitude is soooooi ugly..wow.. I called the Harbison branch and explained to the manager there what happened and she looked my chart up and immediately told me what I needed..she was so nice. CLARETHA NEEDS TO GO.. Customer service is horrible these days..
