During my first visit Dr. Heath examined my eyes and indicated I had small cataracts and recommended that I have them removed. I did not want cataract surgery. The following year I wanted my lenses stronger. Dr. Heath recommended cataract surgery again. She further stated Medicare will pay for it and it would improve my vision. I had the surgery in 2024 with the Columbia Eye Ctr. I have not seen an improvement in my vision. Dr. Heath indicated her examine showed improvements. Since the surgery I cannot see the charts clearly in both outer eyes. Now I am experiencing floaters in the right eye which interferes with reading and driving. I will be looking for a new eye specialist.

APEX, Excellent doctor and staff in office! The billing department who is with "Elevate My Eye" is horrible! They barely answer calls and wait 8 months to send you their mistake. Get it together!! I do not believe my eye dr knows how the billing department is messing up the Apex image. Again, I'm only with Apex because the doctor and "office staff" are awesome!

This was my first time visiting this location. The experience was very and enjoyable. Dr. Heath was so knowledgeable and kind she answered all of my questions with ease and made me feel so comfortable. The staff was also very kind, the office was well lit and very clean. I will definitely refer this office to family and friends.

I was initially very pleased with my interaction with this office. The person answering the phone and making appointments was great and was able to schedule our appointment quickly. The appointment went well and they were supposed to order contacts for my son come and try on. We were also looking at glasses for two people and the person that was helping us just disappeared. I decided to take our prescriptions and wait for the call about the contacts. I didn't receive a call in the next week and decided to go somewhere else for the glasses and contacts - Lens Crafters was happy to help us with glasses and contacts. I never heard from anyone at Apex and called today and nothing had been ordered. They were apologetic, but they've lost my business.

Since Dr. McClay left this place has went downhill. Was charged for a service I wasn't told was being done. When I asked for a detailed receipt for my FSA account, they gave me one for more than $40 less than what they had just charged me. I'm done with this place. I gave them more than one chance hoping they would change. They kept cutting back hours. It is no longer convenient for me. The office staff, especially the manager, don't seem to care about the clients. He hung up on me when I questioned the charges and yelled at me.

Was a few minutes late for my husband's appointment due to dialysis. Receptionist was very rude and did not want to listen. Very poor attitude and customer service. She wanted to reschedule for next week. He was having problems with eyes. He diabetic and has cancer and kidney failure we were willing to wait but she just kept saying No. The doctor needs to know about her attitude. I have worked in Reception and never would talk to a patient in that manner. Just lost 2 new patients and probably more.

This was my second appointment with Dr. Heath and I really liked her. She answered my questions, made suggestions and I could tell she cared. The office staff was friendly, prepared for my visit (my records and benefits) and welcoming. The tech who helped with my glasses was very kind and understanding of my requests. I look forward to next year's visit.

When discussing concerns regarding how my eyesight is impacted by certain environments; Dr. Heath appeared to be dismissive.
The intake receptionist is very unpleasant and not personable with customers.
I was truly looking forward to making this a permanent location to handle my optometry needs. After my most recent visit, I will be changing doctors.
