I have been wearing glasses or contacts for 60 years. Each visit, whether it was yearly or every other year, my vision needed to be corrected. The past several years, it was difficult for me to see clearly and my doctor in NY was no help. I relocated to Lexington SC and made an appointment with Dr. William Reynolds at Envision Eye Care and he immediately told me that it was time for cataract surgery. He highly recommended Dr. Lucas Platt at the Eye Center. I made the earliest appointment that was available, it was a life changing experience from start to finish. Starting with the friendly well trained staff, all the personnel at the surgery center, and of course, Dr. Platt. During the initial consultation he was thorough explaining how the different lenses would effect my vision. I opted for the Presbyopia package that would allow me to see clearly again with NO more glasses to wear. For the few more dollars that it cost over the other couple options, I never wanted to say to myself , I wish I got the best lenses. And really, can you put a price on your vision? During the procedure, Dr Platt explained everything that was going to happen and talked me through the entire procedure. It was quick painless and the results are life changing. It is truly amazing on what I can see now and how I see things. Thank you Dr. Reynolds for your honesty and referral. And thank you Dr Platt and staff for a truly life changing experience.

I am 71 years of age and have worn eye glasses for 65 years and when cataract surgery was needed I was really nervous about the procedure and what would the outcome be. Doctor Platt and his team calmed my fears went through the procedure and told me of the benefits of the surgery. Well I can say they were spot on with everything. It was incredible. I chose the multi-focal with LENSX. Goodbye glasses! The cataract surgery was seamless. The day after my 2nd eye surgery I could see near, mid, far clearly. Dr. Platt's experience showed at every step providing incredible results.

Cataract surgery in both eyes, both were great. I was a little apprehensive but after speaking with Dr platt felt much better. I'm a 73 year old retiree who has struggled with vision issues since my mid 40s. I began with glasses and contacts and was marginally successful.
