Prisma Health Ophthalmology-Parkridge

I received a referral to be seen by Carol Ann Ling on 26 Nov. 2025 approximately 1.5 months ago. On 07 November 2025 at 8: 30 am, I was contacted by the office to inform me that the provider will be going on "holiday," and will be rescheduling my appointment to 22 December. THEN my file was updated to state that i canceled the appointment, and my referral was canceled. According to my referring office, the referral was canceled due to me refusing care, which NEVER happened! I have been calling this office for days to determine what happened & why, but I assume when Ms. Ling went on holiday she took the entire team as well.

Outstanding practice. The ladies at the check-in desk are outstanding - friendly, professional, and efficient. Very little time in the waiting room. Office manager Rose, Micky, Sharon, and other nurses and technicians are great to work with. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Initially treated by Dr. Patel for diagnosis; Dr. Iverson for cataract surgery, and Dr. Duc Tran for post op. All outstanding doctors. Very professional; took the time to explain procedures; good bedside manner; excellent medical practice.

The office is great and so is the doctor. the resin for the 1star is to actually talk to a live person you wind up playing phone tag. you can't talk to a live person after your visit you have to jump through hopes to actually talk to some one

This Doctors Care is a great place to come for quick and professional medical care. X-rays and a doctor's examination were done after my husband's car accident.

I visited this office for the first time last October. I was sooo very impressed with the professionalism, attentiveness and kindness of the entire staff (Rene (sp?) front desk, nursing assistants and Dr Bute. I followed up with Dr. Albrecht who preformed a much needed upper bleph and did an excellent job ( I was a dermatology nurse for 25yrs so I am somewhat of an expert when it come to surgery pertaining to skin).She was fabulous in every way! Next I had a cataract removal performed by Dr. Espaillat who ALSO did an extraordinary job. Not only are the physicians in this practice highly skilled, they made me feel I was being treated by friends!! I will be back at the end of the month for my next cataract with absolutely no worries thanks to these physicians! (And the entire office was remarkably clean!!)
