Sansbury Eye Center - Forest Acres

Dr. Moriah Zuckerman was extremely rude and unprofessional. I went to her on October 4 for keratoconus and have not been able to work from the 4th through the 15th because of this condition. I sent her the paperwork for her to fill out for my job and after she finally looked at it she states she didn't need to fill it out anymore because my lenses came in today, October 15. Mind you today is the 15th and i still do not have my lenses at all. She still would need to fill the paperwork out for the 2 weeks i missed because of this . I made it very clear that I was still unable to work from the 4th-15th, and she tried to act like she didn't understand me, pretending there was a misunderstanding -- when in reality, she was just refusing to listen. She then told me there was an appointment tomorrow, October 16, at 12:30 PM. I explained I couldn't make it because of class, and she said "well I'll just write on the paperwork you declined to come to work" -- as if my class has anything to do with declining work. Before I could respond, she treated me like I was hard of understanding and transferred me. The woman she transferred me to was polite, professional, and understood immediately what I was saying. Dr. Zuckerman's behavior was nasty, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. She was listening to speak and not to hear , i was able to reach out to my professor and let him know i wouldn't be able to make class due to me having to pickup my lenses. She still have yet to fill out my STD work forms . Update : Went in on the 16th of October to get my sceleral Lenses , lenses was still blurry,i let her know the left one was constantly moving and irritating my eye and that the words where morphing , it looked as if they where rained on , she stated it takes 1-2weeks to settle in but she put on my std paperwork to return to work that next day only for them to tell me to get a re evaluation from a recommended eye dr because again my vision was still blurry and the contacts where moving around a lot, went to an eye dr near my job and he stated both of the lenses are too big & asked me did i get mold , i told him no because the mold was too expensive . He gave me a note for October 16th & emailed my job regarding the lenses being huge & he said they shouldn't have sent you back to work if your scleral lenses are too big or not fitting properly, especially if it's causing blurry vision, discomfort, or strain. He said Poor fit is unsafe & that If a scleral lens is too large it's going to Move or rotate while blinking & that's what causing the words to melt as I'm describing , That them being too big Leaves you with unstable or blurry vision, which can make working especially on computers or driving unsafe. She still didn't update the std paperwork to The date I'll get the actual fitted lenses. In world of switching eye drs..

Had previously booked 2 eye appointments and both were cancelled with the explanation that the Dr. will be out with no other correction for both appointments. I was frustrated because you can book online. So I did and earliest appointment I could get was 2~3 months out. But both times were cancelled on me. I don't believe this business is reliable or respectful of their patients time.

Excellent Doctors and customer service. Knowledgeable, informed staff. Expedient interraction. Patient for over 35 years. Would highly recommend.

I had appointments for myself and my two teenagers today, and we had the best experience. In a time where customer service seems to be lacking most places, that was not our experience today at Sansbury (Beltline) we were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in. I didn't catch the name of the sweet lady wearing glasses at the front door but she was very pleasant and welcoming at 8:30am. Dr Taylor is very personable, friendly, and thorough. Sam and Josh are amazing at what they do and have amazing customer service. I look forward to returning to this office next year for our annual eye exams. Thank you to this amazing staff for being extremely thoughtful, knowledgeable, and offering the best customer service I have experienced in a long time!!

Received glasses in March for my girls . The staff is great. However I'm highly upset. My daughter accidentally sat on her glasses, and the ear piece broke off ( she's young but has to have them) we have insurance , but I was highly disappointed when we were told they are no longer affiliated or have business with Juicy Couture, the warranty is zip... so you spend all this money for glasses .. to find out you all are longer affiliated , and they want you to come out of pocket $$$. Why keep glasses in your store , you no longer have business with ? And you expect people to come out of pocket even more , and worse there is nothing you can do.. How about don't keep glasses in your store, from a company you aren't affiliated with anymore . And do a better job at helping customers who've already spent $$$$

Thank you so much for all that you guys do and I really appreciate the lovely ladies Cary, Nicole and Shannon today for all the help I received fixing and picking out new glasses after my car accident! :) I love this location to bits thank u!

Today was my first time visiting this location and my first eye exam in quite a while. I was anxious walking in but that quickly went away as I was greeted by the most pleasant employee, Mrs Shannon, the Clinic Manager. Her friendly, upbeat, and bubbly personality was very refreshing to see! She checked me in and I had nearly no wait time at all. All the staff members were so friendly and kind. My examination was quick and efficient. Afterwards I asked Mrs. Shannon to assist me with picking out some frames since she was so pleasant when I first walked in, to which she happily obliged. With her help I found the perfect frames for me and I couldn't be more excited. Furthermore, I couldn't help but notice how clean and well organized the center was. Every staff member I came into contact with was sanitizing and cleaning anything that was touched, temperatures were taken for everyone entering the building, and all staff members were appropriately wearing their masks. Mrs. Shannon deserves kudos and a raise! Her customer service is exemplary. I will certainly be back to this center!!

I have been a patient at Sansbury for 35+ years and the experience has always been great. I recently switched from the Harbison location to Beltline when my doctor passed away. Yesterday I walked in at 5:35 when they were supposed to be closed (5:00 closing time) but the door was unlocked because a patient was still picking new glasses. I had a pair of broken glasses that I was hoping to get fixed. A young man took them in the back and brought them back 10-15 minutes later as good as new. He very easily could've said sorry we're closed. Come back tomorrow, And I would've understood. Instead, he went ahead and fixed what was broken and also replaced the nose pads while he was at it. He handed them back to me and said have a great evening.
