Singleton Eye Clinic

I had a wonderful experience at my recent eye exam! The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and Dr. Singleton took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all my questions. The office was clean, efficient, and had a calm atmosphere that made the visit comfortable. I truly appreciate the care and professionalism -- highly recommend to anyone looking for a great eye doctor!

Dr. Singleton has been great. He probably spent 15-20 minutes talking to me and evaluating my unusual situation. I've been to another well known practice in Conway where the doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me and dismissed my concerns until I pressed him. I would highly recommend Dr. Singleton and his staff.

If I could give zero star I would. The place itself is fairly clean, atmosphere is okay but the receptionist needs better training in customer service. My father had an appointment for this location (Conway, SC). We walked in maybe 5-10 mins after his scheduled appointment, checked in and we had paperwork to fill out. After thats been done we had to waited for almost an hour. Everybody else who came after us has been called in and done so I politely followed up with the receptionist who was busy with her cellphone. I kindly asked how much longer until his turn and she just looked up and said he'll be next (right, after they cleared the waiting room with other patients THEN it will be his turn). I've worked in medical/doctor offices before, and it is crucial that you keep your patients informed no matter how busy (especially of the office is busy). It's how you build rapport with your patients. Not even a "thank you for your patience, but your father will be next" or anything, just proceeded to mess with her phone. While my father is being seen, I waited in their waiting area and could hear them very boldly to talk negatively about their patients in front of their other patients in the office. I think I can speak on behalf of all patients that we know we can get on your nerves and you on ours but we would rather not hear you talk about and ridicule us. The patient they were talking about sounds like they've just had surgery to their eyes and was asking for medication for discomfort or itching, whatever the case maybe, most of the times patients younger or older relies on their doctors and medical teams for guidance. They might think they know whats best but that's when YOU the "professionals" should be offering reassurance to these patients then helping them understand what's going on, not talk crap about them. Not very professional. Maybe we've caught them on a bad day but I am not very pleased with this first experience.

Everyone was nice, polite, and professional. The appointment ran very nicely. Dr. Singleton is great he listens politely and answers questions so you understand.

I have been a patient of Dr. Singleton for years and I can't imagine going anywhere else to get eye care. He is calm, clear, and answers your questions. Everything he has prescribed has worked and improved my vision. I will remain one of his patients.

First visit. Very impressed. The Dr immediately noticed an abnormality in my test vs prescription from my previous Dr. That led to further scrutiny and many questions answered. I'll be back for follow up.

I recommend Singleton Eye Clinic to all of my friends and family. Dr. Singleton has years of experience and is at the top of his field. He is very thorough with eye exams and patiently answers all of our questions. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable too and they have wonderful customer service. They are great at working with insurance companies and explaining all of the costs upfront for every part of the exam to buying glasses or contacts. We would not consider going anywhere else.

Dr. Singleton is probably the kindest soft spoken Doctor i have ever been to. I look forward to continuing my care with him.
