I walked in because I got Injured while doing . I am a local landscape professional, and would have expected that they tsee someone who is injured. Instead, I was told that I have to wait for an administrator because I am not a patient and she's out to lunch and the front desk had no idea when she would be back from lunch so I was to just sit and wait. Terrible attitude, terrible process Learn how to take care of people and not your nails This staff should be embarrassed!

I've had a great experience with Dr Bishop and his office. I've found his staff to be well trained, polite, and helpful. Their offices are fresh, neat, organized, and appear to be equipped with a full array of modern equipment. I've had cataract surgery and other eye surgery from Dr Bishop and have been very pleased and impressed with his technical and business skills.

To hear Dr. Bishop speak you would think his soft spoken manner was a promise of a caring person. Nothing could be further from the truth. I had cataract and corrective surgery. Shortly after I came down with Covid, started a short recovery and relapsed. I am 72 years old and was completely devastated. I live with my daughter who took wonderful care of me. Approximately a year after my surgery I was called by a collection agency on Bishop's behalf. I tried to get into Dr. Bishop to discuss the possibility o some forgiveness with this debt as I am disabled and not working. I was absolutely snubbed. I was told I was "excused" from the practice. The surgery was not good- I have sporadic pain and the quality of my vision has diminished. I tried to be seen for this- I was told to forget it. I will see if a small claim is the best way to go. I am really hurt and angry about his complete indifference to my situation. Please, there are better places to go locally than this doctor. If you want a caring person, Bishop is NOT the place to go. I needed to add an update. Dr. Bishop's office contacted me and asked me to come in for an appointment. I had left a message that I was having issues with somewhat deteriorated vision and sporadic pain. So, we'll see what happens. I have made arrangements to pay off my bill, even though when I made the original commitment I was working and I am on a very restricted income with disability. I guess we'll see what happens. Unless I am wrong, it would seem his practice would have a way of reconciling my non- payment so that his practice would cover the loss. Anyway, I did not want to misrepresent what the outcome is.

Disappointing. Lack of communication concerning cost (for self pay) lack of compassion. Rude employee. Referral to cataract surgeon from eyeglass examination. Told didn't need to send referral as they did there own. After exam was sent to pay bill notified of cost (paid 274$ with card) Sent to 'scheduling' was immediately told it would cost 13k to 20k & "Did I have that amount" When I did not I was told to 'wait for medicare (7yrs) (I wasn't going to go blind') or "Run to VIM get an optometrist appointment get referred back to.them to get VIM to pay for it. They then shuffled me out of the office while someone at the top of there lungs said "Sorry we cant help you!" In front of a whole waiting room of people. I was treated like a bum in front of everyone. I would not recommend them unless you have medicare coverage with a supplemental plan that covers everything! Very expensive. Compassionate only if you have $$$

I walked in on Monday with no appointment and a seriously ill right eye. Everyone worked to take my info and Dr. Bishop put his lunch aside and took care of my exam and treated me. That is professional doctoring ! Thank you Dr. Bishop and the great nurses!!!

Clean, cutting-edge, affordable, expert, compassionate. They really helped me in a time of great need. Dr. Johnson is the man. If you have eye pain or messed up vision, go to Bishop Eye Center today. They WILL fix you up.

Everyone at Bishop was very nice and understanding. I was visiting the island on vacation and developed some issues. They were able to fit me in and were very pleasant during the unexpected visit.

Doctors are pretty good, nothing wrong there, but the staff..... very unpleasant, unhelpful especially with contact ordering or just basic questions over the phone. Almost seems like they absolutely hate their jobs! Doctors-- get new front of the house people, your business depends on it!!
