Visited as a walk In today. Outstanding Customer experience. The OD " Dr" was able to get my eyesight back to 20/20 vision. She is what Lake City needs. The staff is professional and courteous. 1. The Receptionist is organized and thorough. 2. The Assistant is knowledgeable and empathetic. 3. The Dr. and staff are efficient and effective. 4. The Vision Center staff repaired my glasses she is always kind and just a good soul. She fixed my old pair in moments. The other staff member was able to get me fitted for my new pair. It took me, a licensed advisor, to accompany a client with a Medicare Advantage plan on a visit to the center before a manager decided to be proactive and call the insurance company to verify the client's entitled vision benefits. Rated 2 Stars because of the staff's sense of urgency, patience and thoroughness with answering my questions regarding the client's previous encounter. Otherwise, I would've rated lower simply because the staff tried coercing the client into making an unwanted purchase without calling the insurance company to verify details of the client's vision benefits. I believe in sincerely being proactive when handling issues with customers. I expect the same from the providers.
