Dr. Maharaj's assistant is friendly and proficient. Dr. Maharaj is expert and thorough. She explains as she goes, listens well and responds thoughtfully. It's nice having such a great clinic in the neighborhood.

I used this optometrist because they were in network for my insurance. Everything went well until I asked about my pupillary distance not being included on my prescription. Depending on which optomitirist you use and what state you have your exam in, the policy varies on PD. This optomitirist will not supply the PD and when asked about it I was told the optician next door would supply the PD only if I bought glasses from them. (They are a seperate office alltogether mind you) I wanted to have the option to order online or from another optician. When asked how I could go about getting my PD without purchasing glasses next door, the optomitirist's assistant just shrugged her shoulders. I would also like to note that I did purchase glasses next door and even then they would not supply my PD number as they stated it was a liability. I can't say that I've ever had such an issue in the past with other optomitirist and opticians. Ive always gotten my PD number, and it is required for online orders. Should I have known that the PD number was going to be such an issue prior to using my insurance for my annual exam I would have went elsewhere. If you want to order prescription Eyewear anywhere other than the Walmart vision center next door, especially online I would recommend rendering services elsewhere.

Dr. Maharaj was very nice and professional. Great eye exam for my neighbor. She got us in quickly. Highly recommended.
