Morning,
I had purchased 2 pairs of glasses from America's Best at Tanger (have used AB since 2003). The recent purchase was for 2 different frames/lenses. In a short period after purchase (2 months) one, or both lenses have randomly popped out for no reason. The local staff graciously tried to fix on site. However it became apparent one has "miss-fitting lenses. They have already ordered a new complete pair. Customer Service has stellar for something from "out of thier house". Just wanted to give Props" to the staff and store (store #4083).

I talked my son Zyan into coming back to America's Best to get his glasses. I loved how we were greeted as we entered the door. The lady at the reception desk was very polite. I really want to give props to the young woman who checked us out. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. She even showed pictures to help explain things. I'm sorry i don't remember her name, but she was great at her job. She deserves a raise!!!!
My experience with this office was amazing from my call to see if my appointment could be pushed back, thought I'd be running late, the receptionist was so nice and patient... She even held on the line while I found out how long it would be before I got there. Once I arrived, she greeted me with a smile and simple general conversation while I waited. The entire staff was very serene, and the office was well lit, organized, and the eyewear selection was very fairly priced. This is one of the best experiences that I've had with an eyewear office/staff in YEARS. I am grateful and will be returning!!
Our entire experience from first appointment to picking up new glasses was incredible. Really appreciated Adrian's help choosing frames and make sure we received all our vision benefits.

Just moved from Virginia and needed a new eye care facility. They opened on time and were very friendly. The attended to me even though I was a few minutes early for my appointment very friendly and attentive team. Will be back and looking forward to continue my care with them. Also very large and clean waiting area and lots of glasses to choose from. Thank thank you Thank you guys for being awesome.
I wasn't going to write a review, but honestly, I'm still upset by the attitudes a few weeks later that I'm inspired to do so.
I purchased glasses several months ago. The staff then was so professional, friendly, and helpful. This time however, I went in and didn't see a single person I recognized (they probably all quit, and I really can't say I would blame them).
There was an older black lady at the front desk who clearly was in agony from being alive, didn't greet me with any type of pleasantries pointed me directly in front of her rudely and then said "if it's about glasses, you need to go over there". And pointed behind her.
I made my way behind her to encounter a white lady, who was equally unpleasant but managed to have more words in her vocabulary and more emotions, which were still unimpressive, and I asked if she could slightly reshape my toppers because they would not stay on my eyeglasses because my eyeglasses had been shaped to fit my face and explained that they had previously been nice enough to help me with that when I picked them up last time.
She went into an entire downward spiral about how they weren't supposed to do that, she had just taken over the store, she wasn't there at that time, she was going to melt them, she could reshape my glasses, but not the toppers, so on and so forth.
I told her reshaping my glasses wasn't going to help me because then my other toppers wouldn't fit. She carried on and on. Eventually, I told her don't worry about it and just left because I felt honestly, she'd probably mess them up deliberately just to be right at that point.
Anyway.....used to be a fan of the old staff, but no thanks to the new staff.
Unprofessional. Receptionist tells you to sit and wait or walk around and someone will be with you. Due to this, they end up serving customers who come in after you. No one checked in with me. I waited 20 minutes before finally leaving. The sales associate with the undertone passive aggression towards one another was jawing. Thankfully I was able to get better service at one of their other locations.
Had an appointment at 550pm after work and due to traffic did not get there until 552pm but my appointment was canceled for 2 mins late due to traffic. Could not reschedule as I was out of town working and was headed home the next day. I have never seen a place that did not give a grace period for an appointment even if was the last appointment of the day and for only 2 mins. Don't think I will be using this company again at any location if that is their policy. I don't make it a habit of being late for appointments and most of the time I am at least 15 minutes early but the one time that I am a couple minutes late because of traffic in Charleston and I can't even get a grace period this was just ridiculous.
