The exam portion of our experience was wonderful! Always has been!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the eyeglass retailer. Communication is essentially nonexistent--no one answers the phone, and on two separate occasions I was left on hold for 25 minutes or more with no resolution. When I did interact with employees in person, the attitude was rude and dismissive, as if helping customers was an inconvenience.
Because of pure laziness and lack of follow-through by an employee, I waited over an extra 10 days for my 12-year-old's glasses for school. Only to later find out the glasses had been there the entire time--no one bothered to actually check or notify me. This delay was completely avoidable and incredibly frustrating, especially when it involved my child.
Overall, the service is not recommended. Poor customer service, poor communication, poor follow-through, and poor quality all around. This was a waste of time and money, and I will not be returning.

At first they didn't have there info correct because my kids had 2 insurance, til I had to pull out my info online for them to correct it. Afterwards Caleb did an amazing job with helping me pick my options for my kids. I was able to get 2 pairs for less then $190. That was awesome!! Will be back next week to get my 2 pairs.

Caleb gives excellent customer service. Always with a smile takes his time with everyone. We have witnessed his professionalism on several occasions. It really stands out because this type of service is not common anymore. I hope he is recognized for his commitment to taking care of customers as this is a great reflection of the company. The CEO should grab this employee and have him assigned to training. Caleb, employees from different professions that perform the way you do go far so keep striving.

I recently went to the North Charleston Northwoods Mall, LensCrafters location and was met pleasantly by the manager Gwen, who was absolutely amazing. I had learned that my prescription is too strong for curved type sunglasses or eyeglasses and we had to try on at least a dozen pair. This was a two hour ordeal, which normally would be very difficult and frustrating and she absolutely made it painless as possible. We laughed we joked she was very precise clear about everything. every employee or sales associate and any business needs to conduct themselves the way Gwen did today. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. ask for Gwen she will take care of you for certain.you go girl!
