I wish I had taken down names, but I was so frustrated and it was somewhat surreal. To have followed their process 100% book online....schedule the time that works for you Saturday afternoon works beautifully. I work during the week. I planned my whole day around this eye appointment. I arrive 15 minutes prior to the eye appointment and was told they were closing. I had a 430 appointment and they were supposed to close at five. But I was rudely told by the little blonde girl that there were no appointments after 330 today. ?????
I left As I assumed that, perhaps I was confused maybe I I came to the wrong eye doctor. I stepped outside to check my emails. Nope I was at the right address. The eye doctor that I had even confirmed via email.
I Went back inside and confronted the front desk very nicely and she said very rudely. What is your name and I told her my name and she said I called you this morning and left you a voicemail to tell you that we didn't have a 430 Did you book this online because online always messes up and you shouldn't be booking it online
To say, I was flabbergasted to say that this was disgusting to say that she is obviously in the wrong profession would be an understatement
I don't have any voicemails so she's also a liar and not only is she rude but she lies to your face. How do you treat people like this? Why is this allowed?
I was not in the wrong at all .....she did say as I was leaving. call me Monday and I'll try to squeeze you in. Don't do me a favor.
I made the appointment on Saturday because that's when I was available. I will find another eye doctor next week. Not only have you lost me but you have lost all my family and friends that would've come to your service.

If you are thinking of using Eyemart in front they are wonderful but if you're gonna use their optometrist in back in rock hill by Lowe's run as fast as you can, unless you'd like to be treated rudely, but I don't think anyone does.... horrible horrible experience.
They were extremely backed up, and my partner's appointment for a Lasik follow-up was not even in the system. We were told they were an hour and a half behind. Come to find out the doctor we were there to see "didn't work there" and the receptionist acted like our doctor didn't work there. We've had appointments with Dr. Paul Lutrell before at that location. We were then told that we couldn't be seen at all. While waiting, we discovered that people waiting were having their appointments cancelled over email and the office was only going to see 10 people and 30 people were scheduled for that day. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and gaslighting patients. Absolutely unacceptable.
In the past several months it's been an incredible pain to get ahold of them. They do not answer the phone and only sometimes get back to voicemails. Although the staff is nice it's not easy to keep customers when they get no responses back. I have also known others who have had a hard time getting in touch or a follow up from this eye center.
I have been going to Accuvision Eye Care for a couple of years now. The staff is amazing, especially Amy. She is alway pleasant not only to me, but to the other patients who come in for an appointment while I am there. I can see she works very hard and always maintains a smile. The company could not ask for a more dedicated worker who not only takes care of the whole office but, also the patients. Kudos Amy!
Don't recommend, went in for an eye exam and ended up not being seen. Asked for a manager she says "we don't have one" and I could tell. Front desk was rude and unprofessional. However, the gentlemen in eye mart were very understanding and professional!
Excellent experience!!! I arrived and Amy got me right in and started. I didn't fully understand my insurance but she got it taken care of and made sure it was taken care of. Definitely will be coming back
Have been a customer for years. This year is different. Had an appointment cancelled on same day a couple hours before I arrived because the Dr had to leave early, at 3:45. My appt was at 3 so I wasn't sure why my appt was canceled but I figured stuff happens.
Rebooked for 2:45 on another day. Came in at 2:30 and was surprised how many people were sitting in the waiting area. Waited and waited, at 4:10 an assistant came out and said the Dr was done for the day and I could reschedule. What the hell??
They had already told another woman that the Dr couldn't see her because her last appt was 3:45. Her appt was at 3:30 and they wouldn't see her. It was the THIRD time they had cancelled on her!
Absolutely horrible way to treat customers!
Never going back.
Maybe if you book before noon and bring a picnic, you stand a chance of actually getting an eye exam from Dr Scanlon.
After reading their amazing reviews, I called Eyemart in Rock Hill, to schedule two new patient eye exams. Little did I know Accuvision Eye Care was the doctors office within Eyemart, but learned that upon scheduling. Long story short, Amy the customer service rep who answered the phone was very very rude, unprofessional, and truly seemed unhappy doing her job...so rude that I'm looking forward to speaking to her supervisor Kristen who works at the Accuvision in Pineville. After Amy hung up on me, I went to check their reviews, another little did I know...they had a measly 3.6 stars with complaints about the front desk staff, their terrible customer service, and one who recently mentioned Amy, specifically by name. Come on Accuvision, is this the type of service to you want to to be known for and provide?!? They have lost two potential customers.
