I've been a patient of Dr. Goshhorn's since I was a kid, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. She is exceptionally personable and has an outstanding attention to detail. Her deep expertise and mastery of her craft are what have kept me coming back year after year. While the wait times can be long, that's simply a reflection of the thorough, dedicated care she gives every patient. Honestly, I consider it a sign of how much she truly cares.
Dr. Goshorn's knowledge is fantastic. We switched to her practice from a previous, local one because I felt my child needed more proactive care.
The wait times are long. We were driving over an hour to get there, and I learned to expect to be there 2-3 hours, even without a dilation. Our shortest time there was probably an hour and a half. Actually being seen was normally around 20-30 minutes at the most.
We ended up moving to a provider right by us that provides vision therapy. The wait times were frustrating, but I'm thankful for the care we received while we were with Dr. Goshorn.
Dr. Goshorn is an exceptional surgeon. After my then-3-year-old daughter suffered a devastating injury, Dr. Goshorn spent over seven hours in surgery doing everything she could to repair the damage. I will always be grateful that she was there that night--truly a guardian angel for our family. In the weeks and months that followed, she remained incredibly accessible and committed to my daughter's care. Whether it was a Sunday evening or a late-night concern, she made herself available whenever complications arose. All we had to do was call.
I know some people mention that her appointments can run long, but that is because Dr. Goshorn is meticulous, thoughtful, and deeply invested in her patients. She takes the time to be precise and thorough, and it shows in her outcomes and the trust she builds with families. We will continue to see Dr. Goshorn throughout my daughter's childhood as long as we live in Charlotte. I cannot recommend her more highly.
So thankful for our mom to have been blessed to have Dr. Erin Goshorn on call when she needed help the most. We do not know the outcome of mom's injury, but Dr. Goshorn felt like a family member immediately. Personable, professional, kind, knowledgeable, I can go on and on.. she gave mom, myself, and our family strength and hope that our mom would be okay. As a nurse who has worked in a hospital setting for 20 years, I can honestly say she is top on my list of a great physicians. Hard to find some that cares about people the way she does!
We love Dr. Erin Goshorn! She is very thorough and committed to eye care and we love that. My daughter really enjoys her visits here and Dr. Erin makes her feel very at ease with everything. My kids and myself enjoy the lovely fish tanks in the lobby sitting area along with the beautiful relaxing decor/atmosphere of the office. Everything is very nice here. The staff is very nice and friendly. Very, Very glad we found this establishment. Would absolutely recommend this place.
Dr. Goshorn was wonderful. Dr. Goshorn helped evaluate, and then assisted with an emergency. She goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!
I was looking for Dr.Goshorn after she left Charlotte. I found her right here in my hometown Rock Hill. I love her so much. Came last week for my childrens first visit and it was busy I can admit but when you want great service sometimes you have to wait a little. She ask me to come back today so she could get a very accurate reading for my daughters glasses. Both of my children have Anaridia meaning they are legally blind. She has gone above and beyond with my daughter. She is AMAZING. I don't know many if any eye doctor that would take the time like she has with my daughter. SHE IS THE BEST
