Clemson Eye (Old Seneca Location)

The doctor is great but if you order glasses online and have questions they will turn you away quick. The front desk service does not like it when you don't order frames at Clemson eye. The body language and the attitude says it all. I think my prescription is wrong but they quickly judged and said it's because I ordered online. The effort to figure out the issue was zero.

I visited this office when my glasses broke, I went ahead and got a new exam done and the optometrist herself was very pleasant and professional. The receptionist however, is rude, unprofessional, and lacks business courtesy and ability to give correct information. After my exam I picked out my frames and the receptionist began taking my insurance information. At first she said it would be $200 out of pocket. When I went back a couple Fahd later to pay in full she said it was actually $180 because she miscalculated. Not having to pay more is a good thing of course. She said the glasses would be ready in a week. I called and she said the frames didn't come in and it'd be a week longer. 2 weeks go by because of my work schedule and I show up, 1 week later than the estimated time frame mind you- after paying my balance in full. She says my glasses STILL aren't ready and that she has no idea when they'll be ready. On top of that, she refused to even give a phone call when they ARE ready. Apparently I should call the business which I'M providing money to every day to verify that THEY'RE working on providing the service I paid for. I was going to pay out of pocket for an extra pair and pair of sunglasses once I could verify the prescription was acceptable. Definitely not going to provide more business to this place now, though.

Outstanding customer service!!!! The doctors are very informative and Laura is very honest when you ask her opinion when trying glasses on and asking her how they look. Laura doesn't mind helping you pick out frames that are within your budget and look nice. You couldn't ask for a better experience. I highly recommend you check them out.

My family and I have received excellent care from Seneca Optical. The staff is very knowledgeable and so polite. The prices are way better than any other optical place I have used. The frame selection is wonderful, trust me. I highly recommend Seneca Optical to anyone wanting excellent care.

Dr.Morris is great! Laura is great! I was a lil agitated after 2 weeks because my lens seem to scratch very easy...I called and Laura did handle the problem...I am pleased with them...Their glasses are expensive just like any place...Its hard to find inexpensive glasses.

The staff was very nice and professional. I felt as though the Doctor was very knowledgeable and really cares about his patients. I was very pleased and if you need a new eye care place, then this is it.

The place smells of a super strong air freshener and gave me a headache. Also I asked the lady to readjust my glasses and she said If i break them i'm not liable. I've had multiple glasses adjusted and never had someone say that to me. Also how would you break them when I just need to ends fixed... not very impressed

I like the doctor and the eye exam I woul highly recommend that service however if you need prescription glasses go elsewhere according to my insurance company and it's not best but, I do have $130 frame allowance and was never shown any frames just got a lot a numbers in my face from $385 to over $500.00 no explanation given or a breakdown of the cost. I won't be going their again
