I had an excellent experience at this optometrist . The personnel were welcoming, professional, and ensured I felt at ease from the moment I entered. The physician was highly knowledgeable and dedicated time to clarify everything, addressing all of my inquiries without haste. The examination was comprehensive, and I felt assured in the treatment I received. The office was tidy, well-structured, and the appointment proceeded punctually. I would strongly recommend this eye doctor to anyone seeking outstanding eye care.

The doctor was nice and seemed competent. He did want to dilate my eyes and did not have any of the alternatives that are typically available. My main concern is with the glasses that I ordered. I ordered Blue light with anti-reflective lenses. The glasses I received did not have anti-reflective lenses and are visibly blue in color (instead of the typical light yellow tint). When I brought this up, I was told that I ordered them this way and that I would have to pay to order a new pair. I just wasted $400 on glasses that I can't wear. This was my first and last visit.

I absolutely love this place I've been going here for 4 years now. The staff is friendly and Dr.Nimmons is the best.

I visited this eye doctor without an appointment, needing my old glasses' lenses transferred to new frames. The Dr. saw me immediately, completed the task in under 5 minutes, and didn't charge me. Their kindness and efficiency were outstanding. I highly recommend this place for exceptional customer service.

Wonderful service provided by Dr. Nimmons and his team this past week for a corneal abrasion. Dr. Nimmons is knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. All of the staff are friendly, and they ensured I was able to be seen for my eye emergency. Thank you again!

I didn't have a good experience. The doctor changed my contact prescription without telling me and had me test a new pair of contacts for fit for a week. He significantly increased the reading strength on multifocal contacts. I was seeing double and couldn't wear them. When I returned for my recheck he was rude when i said they didn't work. He didn't offer to try a different strength or perform another exam. He changed my prescription back to what I originally had and was short and rude. He is extremely arrogant and obviously thinks he is superior to others. He also didn't want to correct the prescription for glasses. The nice man at the desk changed the prescription and went and got the doctor to sign it. That is the only reason I gave them two stars instead of one. Chris at the front desk is great! This was my first and last visit. If the doctor has reached a point in his career where he doesn't respect his clients, he should get out of the business.

This is the bottom of the barrel type of doctor office. Firstly, they dilated my eyes without telling me that I would lose my vision for reading for the rest of the day. You would think that's an important disclaimer to tell patients. Secondly, the doctor was short. He wasn't friendly or cordial like other doctors. Thirdly and most importantly, he recommended the cheapest pair of glasses and not the best for my eyes. For the first time, I didn't have the anti-glare feature and for my weak eyes, it worsened it significantly. For the first time, I needed another check-up inside six months and a new pair of glasses because my eyes have worsened. Good news is they no longer accept insurance for Clemson students so I don't plan to go back there ever again. I didn't want to anyway. But yes, Tigers, go somewhere else if you're on the school's insurance for many reasons.

In an attempt to teach my 20 year old son with Special Needs independent living skills, I got him to choose an eye doctor that accepted my insurance he's covered under and make his own appointment. Long story short, my son was treated like garbage. He left there in tears and had a severe panic attack. They were extremely rude and nasty and unaccommodating towards him and gave the absolute worst customer service and eye health care imaginable. Very very disappointing. It's taking all I have not to go in that office and give them all a piece of my mind for being jerks to my son.
