The store operations were very well organized throughout the process. I enjoyed all interactions from appointment details and reception with Charity, preliminary exam with Summer, exam with Dr Chapman, to closing with Adrian and Leslie. Each staff member was so personable and knowledgeable. The facility was very clean and comfortable. I have never had such a pleasant eye exam experience.

I and my family have been My Eye Dr patients for nearly 10 years. We loved our My Eye Dr office in Huntersville, NC and we were happy to see one close to our new home when we moved to SC a few months ago. I will admit that I was a little nervous because we received such great care at our old location, but the Carnes Crossroads location did not disappoint. Dr. McDuffey and her team were awesome!

This place was awesome! The staff is so nice and welcoming especially my doctor and Summer. Summer ran my test before seeing my doctor and was so fun, helpful and so sweet! Hope she wins that door decoration contest! My doctor as well was great! Helped me out on getting contacts that worked best for me so informative and i feel in good hands with her. My experience was amazing! The minute I walked in, I was greeted with positive and smiling faces from all the staff. From checking in with Charity, Leslie (GM) explained the process and step by step what she was going to do, Susan explained the insurance coverage and what was included in my package, and Dr. McDuffey was very transparent.

Not going to lie -- I was nervous about going to the eye doctor. But from the moment I walked in, the team at the front desk made me feel so welcome. Summer did my tests and was incredibly professional, patient, and helped me relax right away. The doctor was excellent as well. Now that I've found MyEyeDr, I'll be getting my eyes checked every year instead of every 10 years. I don't have insurance and they were extremely affordable.

Lack of transparency during the yearly visit.
During my annual eye exam, they performed a couple of extra tests without explaining them beforehand or mentioning that there would be additional costs. This felt misleading and unprofessional.
Be cautious and ask questions before agreeing to anything -- I would not recommend.
