Dr. Hegener at Nigh Eye Group in Taylors was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to truly understand my chart and carefully listened to my needs and concerns, especially regarding my current brand of contacts. I never felt rushed and I genuinely felt heard and cared for throughout my visit. This office shows true quality service. I did not feel like just another number walking through the door. If I could give this place 100 stars, I absolutely would. Wow!! I am so impressed and grateful to have found such an amazing eye care provider. Found my eye care home!

Went in last week and was seen by Courtney. She was absolutely amazing. And the to the two that helped me with picking out glasses, Julianna and the other guy I can't remember his name. Black guy with glasses I believe. They were both super helpful and extremely friendly. They made me feel like family and made the experience easy and fun :)

I had an appointment scheduled for 4:20 PM for both a regular eye exam and a contact exam since I'm trying contacts for the first time. The wait was long, but I initially overlooked it because it seemed like only one doctor was available. At the end of my normal eye exam, I was told there might not be enough time for my contact fitting, which didn't make sense since I had waited past my appointment time. I told the doctor that if there wasn't enough time for the fitting, I'd prefer to reschedule the contact exam so everything could be done in one sitting. Despite that, they went ahead with the exam anyway. Afterward, I was informed that I'd need to come back another day for the contact fitting because of the time. When I asked if the only step left was for them to watch me put the contacts in and take them out (since I've never worn them before), I was told yes, which made the situation even more frustrating. To make matters worse, one of the front desk staff members with blonde hair was incredibly unprofessional. She repeatedly interrupted the woman who was helping me, raised her voice, and spoke to me in a condescending, gaslighting manner instead of trying to resolve the issue. Overall, this visit was a huge inconvenience and a waste of time. The lack of clear communication, accountability, and professionalism was disappointing. I would not recommend this location. If you need eye care, go to the Greenville location instead--hopefully, they value patients' time and communicate better.

I took my 9 year old here for an exam and we had a wonderful experience. Each staff member was very kind and professional, specifically Rae (I hope I am remembering and spelling her name correctly). She did a wonderful job making my daughter feel comfortable and patiently explaining each part of the process. Dr. Hegener was fantastic and my daughter loved seeing her. We look forward to staying with Nigh Eye Group and would recommend to anyone looking for an eye doctor in the area. (As a side note, their online portal is extremely easy to use to set up an appointment. I personally love having the option to make appointments online rather than calling and giving insurance info, comparing calendars, etc.)

I had appointment on 4/10 but I lost my contact the night before my appointment, now they were originally booked to the end of April. So I called on 4/9 and explained my dilemma with my contacts. The Receptionist listen patiently and immediately squeezed me in, right before I needed to go work. I said all that to let everyone know how professional and the empathy they have for their patients. Dr. Courtney Hegener was awesome she made sure I got the right prescriptions for my contacts. My whole experience was Awesome

Professional. Empathetic. Considerate. Life changing results! We just relocated from Lancaster PA to the Upstate area and the Nigh Eye Group came very highly recommended. I could not be more impressed from the staff to the doctor. They were able to see me on short notice and at the end of my consultation, the trial lenses they fitted me for were hands down the best I've ever received! If you are new to the area or need a new eye doctor, I highly recommend Dr David Nigh and his team. I felt at home with friends when I was in their office. My family has been going to the Nigh Eye Group for the better part of a decade now. My son and I recently visited their new location in Taylors and were pleased to receive the same outstanding level of care and attention that we have gotten used to at the Greenville location. Friendly staff and state-of-the-art equipment give us peace of mind when ordering glasses, contact lenses, or just having our annual checkups. Highly recommended!
