I cannot express the gratitude and appreciation I have for not just Black Hills regional eye Institute but specifically for Dr. Abraham and Dr. Bergman.
I recently underwent a procedure for a corneal tear that was stretching into a full detachment. If it was not for the quick response back to the emergency department at Eagle Butte IHS by Dr. Corey Bergman a 1 day 20-minute procedure may have turned into a more serious surgery with a multiday recovery stopping me from returning to work.
I truly am grateful for Black Hills regional eye Institute and the services they provide to our community here in Western South Dakota.
Lastly, do not let anyone fool ya!! That laser thing, most definitely hurts, but you are back to good within 24 hours.

Dr Prema Abraham was there when I needed her, and then some. In 2003, after cataract surgery, my right retina began to separate. Within months the left retina did so also. Dr Abraham saved my eyes with a series of four surgeries. I still can see beautifully to this day. My eyes were a complicated case, and she never blinked. I owe her everything in these my later years. Thank you Dr Abraham!

Dr. Berbos and his team were just incredible with my daughter. He is wonderful with kids. We will definitely go back. She had to have a procedure done and he handled it so well and walked her through it.
