In Vision Optical & Eye Care

I was so disappointed with my experience here. I hadn't visited an eye Dr in years and needed an updated script. I went in fully prepared to take my script and order online(like I always do) Sean told me I was saving "100s of dollars" with my insurance, so against my better judgment, I caved. Came out to $175 with insurance (that's insane) ended up getting an extremely heavy pair of glasses that I HATE and cannot wear, they used polycarbonate lenses that are not recommended for my vision type (+ and -) and everytime I turned, it felt like I was going to puke. It was like motion sickness, I brought them back and talked to Sean again. We talked about lenses. He said he needed to "talk to his guy at the lab" when you literally can do a quick Google search for info. They told me I could pay $96 to "upgrade" to the vivex lenses(thinner) instead of the plastic (heavy thick lenses) they replaced them with. I called and asked for a refund, but they refused. So these stupid, heavy, expensive glasses sit in my drawer(first pic) and the second pic, is the glasses I got for $21 (WITH SHIPPING) online after the fiasco. I will never buy glasses from a brick and mortar after that experience.

The office was very welcoming right from the beginning. Dr Steven and his staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with all of my questions. Highly recommend this office!

Great experience! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Shafer was awesome explaining everything and so was Sean. Sean also went the extra mile to find more savings for me and did a wonderful job of explaining everything to me so I could make the right choices ensuring that I will be very satisfied with my new glasses. Quick but not rushed. I would highly recommend In Vision. You won't be disappointed.

Great experience! I was in and out of there in a timely manner but in no way felt rushed. Employees are very clear about what your insurances covers/doesn't so there aren't any surprises. Have been in Rapid for nearly four years now and happy to finally found In Vision.

Dr.Paula and the entire team are wonderful. I've never felt rushed. They explain everything and make sure you're happy with the exam and your choice of eye ware. I drive an hour to use their services!

I was amazed at how quick and thorough the exam was. The doctor was friendly, professional, and had a good sense of humor. He took the time to explain what was checked and what the results meant. Sean at the front desk went the extra mile to check to make sure their lenses would fit my frames and to find the lowest cost possible for what I needed. Great staff. I'm very glad I switched to In-Vision from my last provider.

After visiting a couple of other optometrists in the area, I was lucky to find Dr. Paula! She is extremely thorough, kind, and takes time to answer my questions. The front desk crew is always welcoming and friendly, and it is easy to find a pair of frames from their wide selection. My appointments don't feel rushed and my eyes are in the best care in the Black Hills!
